Sliding Door Rescue: A Success Story

At Advance Glass Contractor, we pride ourselves on providing timely and efficient glass repair services in Miami and surrounding areas. Recently, we received a call from a distressed client, Joann F., who experienced a sudden disaster in her home.

The Challenge: A Morning Mishap

Imagine a Friday morning chaos — kids rushing to get ready for school, and a playful 3-year-old decides to play fetch with the family dog. In an unexpected turn, a rock was thrown, shattering the sliding glass door and scattering shards everywhere. Joann was understandably frantic and knew she needed help fast, so she turned to Yelp to find glass repair services.

Our Quick Response

Joann reached out to us, and we were proud to be the first ones available, giving her the most competitive quote of under $350, which included cleanup. Within 45 minutes, our team was on the scene, ready to restore safety and peace to her home. It's our commitment to respond quickly, especially during emergencies that really sets us apart in the industry.

The Repair Process

Upon arrival, we swiftly assessed the situation. The shattered glass required careful removal to ensure safety, and we began the process immediately. Here’s what we did:

1. Secure Area: We cordoned off the area to safeguard Joann and her kids from any injuries while we worked.
2. Glass Removal: Our team meticulously removed all shards of glass, ensuring a clean environment.
3. Replacement Installation: We installed a new sliding glass door, meticulously double-checking each step to meet safety standards.
4. Cleanup: Post-installation, we handled the cleanup, leaving the area just as we found it — but with a brand-new sliding door!

The Transformation

After the repair was completed, the difference was not just in the obvious aesthetics but also in the renewed sense of safety for Joann and her family. The new sliding door not only looked fantastic but also functioned perfectly, ensuring they could enjoy the rest of their day without worry.

"The owner, who does the work was very attentive, provided excellent service, and was very professional. His wife is who I dealt with over the phone and just as professional. Recommend them for any service pertaining to sliding doors but hope to not have to use them too often haha." – Joann F. --- Homeowner
