I recently used Better Air Northwest for a full cleaning of the HVAC ducts in my 5200 square foot home which hadn't been professionally cleaned in over three years. I was impressed by the process from start to finish and the noticeable difference in air quality afterward.
The scheduling process was easy and transparent. I called on a Tuesday, and they were able to fit me within two weeks. The office staff clearly explained the pricing structure (which was fixed based on the size of the house, with optional add-ons like dryer vent cleaning) and sent a confirmation text the day before. The technicians, Andreas & Cody, called me 50 minutes before arrival, right arrived pretty close to the promised time. I knew there was construction down the street so I figured they would be delayed due to stopped traffic.

The two arrived in a well-marked truck and was immediately professional. They took time to explain the negative pressure vacuum system they use, which involved hooking up a large hose to the main duct trunk near the furnace. They wore boot covers inside the house, which I appreciated.

The cleaning itself involved systematically sealing off all registers and then using powerful air whips into each vent to agitate and loosen all the debris. They showed me the incredible amount of dirt, dust, and junk they removed from the main trunk--it was genuinely shocking and visually compelling.

When finished with the vents they took on the dryer. The lint cleaned out of the vent and the filter was surprising. I expect the drying cycles will be quicker with a clean system.

The entire process took approximately 5 hours. Once finished, they sealed up the access holes they created cleanly. There were only two rooms where they forgot to move furniture back in place.

The immediate difference was significant: the air in the house feels fresher and less "stuffy," and the HVAC system runs noticeably quieter. I am confident that the removal of years of dust and allergens will benefit our household, especially during allergy season.
Better Air Northwest delivered exactly what they promised: professional service, clear communication, and excellent results. I highly recommend them if you are looking to improve your indoor air quality.

Jake G. and Austin were great. They were courteous and provided updates along the way as they were cleaning. They exhibited a high level of professionalism, efficiency, knowledge, kindness and attention to detail. Excellent job. Thank you.

Kody and Vinny did incredible! We have a very skittish cat I needed to transfer between rooms during the duct cleaning, and they fully worked to make that painless and still did an incredible job. Cleaned a legendary amount of dust and old bits of trash from the vents, very happy we went with them!

Had a great experience working with Jack T and Tristen C! They were super friendly and gave detailed explanations of every part of their process for cleaning my air ducts and vents and then my dryer vent. Also, getting to see just how filled the filter/dirt catcher was at the end was satisfying (lol) but also made me super glad I got it done after my bathroom remodel. Yes this place is pricey, but they go the extra mile, and I also appreciate that it's female-owned and family operated. I will use them again in the future.

I recently had my home's HVAC ducts cleaned by Better Air Northwest, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience! As someone who had never cleaned their ducts before (I didn't even know it was something you should do!), I wasn't sure what to expect--but the results and service far exceeded my expectations.

The technicians were timely, respectful, and incredibly efficient. They took the time to explain the entire process to me in detail, which I really appreciated. Their friendly attitude and attention to detail gave me total confidence that the job was being done right. They called ahead and showed up right on time.

They also cleaned my dryer vent--which hadn't been touched in over 9 years--and I was shocked at how much lint had built up. It's such a relief to know that everything is now clean, safe, and running more efficiently.

I highly recommend Better Air Northwest to anyone considering duct or vent cleaning. The difference it makes is real, and the service was outstanding from start to finish!
