Transforming Homes with Smart Lighting

At Big Duck Electric, we believe in turning our clients' visions into reality, and we were thrilled when Saravanan A. reached out to us for a home electrical upgrade in Phoenix, AZ. The existing lighting in their home needed a serious refresh, and they envisioned a bright, modern space filled with the latest smart technology. Our team was eager to get started, and we worked closely with Saravanan to design a solution that met their needs.

The Challenges

Before we arrived, Saravanan’s home was equipped with outdated recessed lighting and conventional switches that didn’t provide the flexibility or energy efficiency he was looking for. The dimness of the old lighting made the spaces feel less welcoming, and the inability to control lighting remotely was a major drawback in today's tech-savvy world.

Saravanan wanted a comprehensive upgrade that included not only new lighting but also smart controls to make their home more convenient and energy-efficient. After discussing various options, we crafted a plan that included the installation of new recessed lighting throughout the home, a complete switch upgrade to smart switches, and adding remote capabilities to existing ceiling fans.

The Transformation Process

Our dedicated technician, Juan, led the project with professionalism and expertise. Within just two days, he completed the following:

1. Installed New Recessed Lighting: Juan added modern recessed lighting that not only brightened each room but also enhanced the home’s aesthetic. The transformation brought a fresh, elegant look that made Saravanan feel like he was in a brand new home.

2. Updated Outdated Fixtures: Juan skillfully updated 32 existing recessed lights, ensuring every fixture was not only functional but also aligned with the new design vision.

3. Smart Switch Installation: We upgraded all conventional switches to smart switches, allowing Saravanan to control lighting through an app on his smartphone. This upgrade greatly increased the energy efficiency of the space and made managing lighting schedules a breeze.

4. Remote Fan Control: Juan extended remote control capabilities to existing ceiling fans, providing Saravanan with ultimate comfort at home. Being able to adjust fan speed and direction with ease has significantly improved their living experience.

Despite tackling an ambitious project in a short timeframe, Juan’s attention to detail and precision shone through. We worked efficiently while ensuring that the installation met our high standards for quality and safety.

The Results

Saravanan was thrilled with the results, stating:

"I couldn't be more thrilled with the exceptional service I received from Juan! … The transformation is nothing short of spectacular… Juan's attention to detail and precision in installation truly shine through in the final product." --- Homeowner

The feedback we received reconfirmed our commitment to customer satisfaction and exceptional service. The new lighting transformed Saravanan’s home, making it brighter and more modern, while the addition of smart technology enhanced overall convenience and comfort.
