After thorough investigation, Matt discovered that the dryer’s back panel had failed—a critical component that was causing the knobs to malfunction.
While Matt initially considered ordering a new back panel, he discovered it was no longer available due to the age of the dryer. Rather than leaving the customer without a proper solution, he first discussed the situation with S. S. and proposed an innovative fix that would hold the knobs in place.

The real challenge lay in finding a creative solution to the panel issue, and that’s where Matt’s expertise and ingenuity came into play. With careful thought and consideration, he devised a custom repair solution that would allow the knobs to function properly without the need for a replacement part.
Despite the complexity of the task and the time it took, Matt worked diligently to ensure that every detail was perfect. In total, he spent over three hours on the repair, not leaving until the job was done to the highest standards – even if it meant working until 11 PM!
