Transforming Electrical Quality in Homes

At DG Energy Electric, we know how critical it is for every renovation to have a solid and safe electrical foundation. Recently, we had the privilege of working with a client, Harrison, who was facing significant electrical issues during their home remodel. They reached out to us after experiencing frustration with their initial contractor, who had overlooked the importance of hiring a licensed electrician.

Before: A Risky Renovation

Harrison’s contractor had started the remodel without proper electrical compliance, leading to numerous safety hazards, including:

• Incorrectly wired bathrooms and kitchen: Outdated wiring that posed a fire risk.
• Grounding issues: None of the electrical systems were grounded, creating potential shock hazards.
• Faulty GFCI outlets: The Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters were improperly installed, meaning they wouldn’t trip when needed.

Understandably, Harrison was concerned and skeptical about the next steps, especially after their previous experience.

Our Approach: Detailed Attention and Professional Service

When Harrison contacted us, our team knew we had to act swiftly and diligently. We emphasized the importance of permitting and safety checks, reassuring them that we would manage the process efficiently.

Here’s what we did:

1. Comprehensive Assessment: We conducted a thorough inspection of the existing wiring and installations.
2. Rewiring: We rewired not only the two bathrooms but also the kitchen, ensuring every aspect was up to code.
3. Permit Management: We guided Harrison through the permit requirements, clearly demystifying the process and providing peace of mind.
4. Quality Assurance: Each step of our work was carried out with meticulous detail, ensuring the highest standards were met.

Harrison expressed immense gratitude for our dedication and professionalism:

“David saved our remodel! He was patient, detail-oriented, and honest. He insisted on getting permits and demystified the process which gave us a lot of comfort... Our biggest regret was not finding and working with DG Energy Electric from the start.” --- Homeowner

After: A Safe and Compliant Home

The transformation was remarkable. Harrison’s home is now not only beautiful but safe and compliant with all electrical codes. We ensured that everything was grounded properly, the GFCI outlets function as intended, and the overall electrical system provides peace of mind for years to come.

The success of this project exemplifies our team's commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship and service. At DG Energy Electric, we pride ourselves on clear communication, honest service, and results that enhance the safety and functionality of our clients' homes.
