Update 4/26/26 -about. A year and a half later the shower floor they installed failed. Now I need to hire real professionals to fix it.
We contacted Earth Saving Solutions in July 2023 for a master bath remodel. They promised a completion timeline of 4-6 weeks after the materials arrived in early December. Fast forward to mid October 2024, and the project is finally complete. It took them nearly a full calendar YEAR to complete a small ~130sqft bathroom remodel.
The project was riddled with issues. The heated floor installation was installed wrong and so poorly the manufacturer warned us it was a fire hazard and to get it replaced. This forced us to tear up most of the work back to the start. The installer showed up only a few hrs a week or not at all. It felt like we were definitely a low priority for Earth Saving Solutions.
Over 10 months our house was a construction zone. They used the garage for storage so we couldnāt use half of it to park. The living room and guest room stored everything we had to take out of the bathroom/ closet for the project that was supposed to be 4-6 weeks.

I offered to give a positive review and testimony in the hopes that it would be an olive-branch to fix the incredibly bad heated flooring install and the other issues they created. Unfortunately, it didnāt seem like that mattered as it still took another 6 months to complete. All while leaving us without a usable master bathroom.
They dropped a tool into the wall and they had to cut a large hole in the wall to recover it. That took several months to patch and paint the hole they made. The bathtub leaked and they had to cut several holes in the ceiling in our finished basement to make repairs, which also took a few months to fix. During that time our basement bar area had to be cleared out and moved into boxes in another room. It was a major inconvenience.
Quality was consistently poor. Wood trim was damaged, and ārepairsā consisted of painting over the damage to hide it, instead of actually fixing it correctly. New wood doors had gouges and scratches while black hardware was also being damaged and mishandled. Mismeasurements caused significant issues including tile placement too close to windows and doors resulting in additional costs for us to have to replace window treatments to fit correctly and future costs because we canāt install a closet door as we wanted to do eventually. They didn't follow their own blueprints. Many corners were being cut.
Most concerning was the lack of required permits.
Earth Saving Solutions originally told us permits weren't necessary because we werenāt making significant or structural changes only for us to discover 8 months later that they are indeed required in Colorado (after we had to consult an attorney). This left us feeling deceived and to make matters worse we learned that unlicensed subcontractors were performing all of the work without any oversight from a licensed contractor to sign off on plumbing, electrical, or HVAC work. At no point during the entire 10 months until near the end when I pressed for it did the work get reviewed by a licensed contractor. And again, it was only because I had to fight and argue for this after having numerous leaks, water damage, and other work that was just done below industry standards.
with the project nearing a year overdue Earth Saving Solutions sent in more workers to rush completion. I suspect this was due to the risk of being sued and that it was less about caring about the quality of their work, and more about covering their butts. While the bathroom is finished; the stress, frustration, and high costs we paid were not worth it. The work looks fine, if you don't look that close. But for 10 months of effort it should be pristine quality craftsmanship. We received no concessions and very little real apology for how much of a nightmare it was to deal with Earth Saving Solutions in that 10 month period. I cannot recommend Earth Saving Solutions based on our experience.

Chris and the whole crew are awesome! When we moved into our shop, they got engineered drawings approved with the city for all our electrical and automotive lifts, remodeled and made everything handicap accessible, repainted the building and plenty more projects planned! Highly recommend ESS for any construction projects!

Earth Saving Solutions was such a pleasure to work with. Tyler was so kind, so helpful, and always good about keeping us informed. He made the whole process much easier than I expected, and that meant a great deal to me. It is hard to find people these days who are so courteous and dependable. I truly appreciated all of the care and attention, and I would be happy to work with them again.

Eric, Garret and Tony came to clean several areas around the outside of the house that had been contaminated by pigeon poop. The initial problem was the solar batteries provided a warm and secure place for pigeons to nest and hatch their eggs. We had to get critter guards before the cleaning could happen.
The ESSCR guys thoroughly stripped patio furniture, removed umbrellas, and the BBQs, cleaned all the gutters out around the house, and disinfected the deck and the patio below the deck.
They were very knowledgeable and nice and provided me a level of comfort that it was safe to go out on the deck again. I felt they knew what they were doing and explained processes throughout the day. I also loved that they used a disinfectant that was safe for people and the planet.
Luis was the initial contact for the project and I really enjoyed working with him as we planned and finalized the whole process.
