Transforming Stairways with Style

At Floor Coverings International Chapel Hill, we take pride in our ability to transform spaces based on our clients' needs and preferences. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Patricia Rodriguez, who sought our expertise for a special project involving the installation of a prominent stair runner in her home.

Before: An Ordinary Staircase

Patricia's staircase was functional but lacked style and warmth. The existing runner didn't complement her decor, and she felt it necessary to upgrade to a carpet that was not only visually appealing but also durable enough to withstand heavy foot traffic. Understandably, selecting the right flooring for such a prominent feature in the home is crucial, and Patricia felt overwhelmed by the number of choices available on the market.

Our Approach: Personalized Service

When Patricia reached out to us, our representative, Nate T., made a visit to her home to assess the situation. We brought along a variety of samples tailored to her specific style and preferences. As Patricia describes, "Our rep, Nate T., arrived with boxes of samples for us to view. Upon assessing our style and preferences, he scheduled a follow-up consultation with additional samples that suited our desire for a carpet that was functional and matched our decor."

This personalized approach allowed us to narrow down the options and focus on what would work best in her space. We ensured that the selected carpet would not only fit her aesthetic vision but would also stand up to daily use, especially given it was a stair runner.

Meeting Challenges: The Installation

Within a couple of weeks, our team was ready to start the installation. During this process, we encountered some challenges related to modifying the existing molding and laying down the new runner seamlessly over the previous one. However, our professional installation team handled these adjustments with care, ensuring everything was neat and tidy.

Patricia expressed her delight with our team's professionalism: "The team was friendly, on time, tidy, and professional—even going so far as to modify molding and other strange layment associated with the previous runner."

After: A Stunning Transformation

The final result was a stunning stair runner that perfectly complemented Patricia's home. The new carpet not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of her staircase but also brought a sense of warmth and luxury to the space.

Patricia couldn't have been happier: "It looks perfect! I can’t say I would have had the same success any other way. I appreciate the patience and service we got from Nate and KWL Carpets."

This project exemplifies our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. At Floor Coverings International Chapel Hill, we strive to ensure that every installation enhances the beauty and functionality of your home while providing an exceptional customer experience.
