Transforming a Tired Space
At Florida Handyman, we understand that sometimes your home just needs a little help to shine again. Recently, we were contacted by Kristine, a homeowner in Winter Garden, who was looking to refresh her charming but well-worn home of over 20 years. She had a few specific requests: door trim repairs caused by her large dog, as well as painting and baseboard replacement in her "great room."
The Challenges We Faced
Upon our initial meeting, it became clear that Kristine was dealing with a living space that, while filled with memories, was showing signs of wear. The door trim needed significant repairs and the paint was fading, making the environment feel less inviting. Kristine expressed her desire for a collaborative approach and set expectations for an efficient turnaround.
Our Transformation Process
We pride ourselves on our dedication to quick and clear communication, and Kristine’s project was no exception. After our same-day visit to assess the situation, we provided her with an estimate just a few days later, as promised. Our team was ready to take on the tasks at hand, which included:
- Painting the Great Room: We used high-quality paint to ensure a fresh and vibrant atmosphere.
- Baseboard Replacement: Rounded corner baseboards were installed throughout the great room, not only enhancing aesthetics but also adding durability.
- Repairing Door and Trim: We meticulously repaired and replaced the damaged door and trim, ensuring a cohesive and polished look.
Throughout the project, our primary focus was to maintain a clean work environment and respect Kristine’s home, which we communicated effectively from start to finish.
The Results That Delight
When the project was complete, the transformation was stunning. The fresh coat of paint revitalized the great room, making it look brand new, while the new baseboards and repaired trims added a touch of elegance. Kristine was overjoyed with the quality of our work and the professionalism of our team.
“We could not be happier with the results. He is very reasonably priced, especially for the quality he and his team delivered. We highly recommend Mid Florida Handyman Services. We will be using him again—I’ve already got my wish list started!” - Kristine Finger --- Homeowner
