Transforming Pest Control with Ease
When Sheryl Fisher and her husband contacted our team, they were facing an urgent pest problem looming under their front walkwayâtwo yellow jacket hives. As homeowners, they were understandably anxious about the aggressive nature of these insects, especially after having experienced painful stings in the past. They reached out to us at My Pest Pros, seeking a professional solution to ensure their safety and peace of mind.
The Challenge: Yellow Jacket Infestation
Prior to our intervention, Sheryl expressed her concerns about the yellow jackets swarming in close proximity to their home. It was not only a nuisance but also posed a significant risk for stings, particularly given the active lifestyle they enjoyed regularly in their yard. Faced with this challenge, they decided to entrust the pest control to our skilled team, confident that our expertise would yield the best results.
Our Solution: Expert Treatment
Upon arrival, our pest control professionals, John Alvarado and Tavon, assessed the situation thoroughly. They understood that these yellow jackets could be dangerous, especially when provoked, so their approach was both strategic and cautious. Here is how we tackled the issue:
1. In-depth Assessment: We carefully inspected the yellow jacket hives to understand their structure and activity.
2. Specialized Treatment Application: Equipped with professional-grade products, John and Tavon applied our targeted treatments directly around the hive entrances while taking precautions to avoid provoking the insects.
3. Monitoring and Support: We provided Sheryl with guidance on what to expect post-treatment, emphasizing that the results would take a few days to show.
The Remarkable Results
Sheryl was thrilled to report back that just hours after treatment, there was a noticeable decrease in yellow jacket activity:
> âLast night, hours after being treated, we did not notice any activity coming from either hive entrances. John told us the product would take about 3 days before we noticed there was no activity at all.â

Squirrel Rescue Success in Charlotte
Squirrel Rescue Success in Charlotte
When A Crain reached out to us, they were at their witâs end with a persistent squirrel problem in their attic. Having tried the DIY approach, they decided it was time to call in the professionals. They contacted our team, hoping for a prompt and effective solution to their unwelcome guests.
The Challenge: A Sneaky Squirrel Family
Upon arrival, our expert technician Kyle discovered that the situation was a bit more complicated than initially thought. Squirrels had found their way into A Crain's attic, creating a cozy nest. Kyle thoroughly inspected the attic, identifying several access points where the squirrels were getting in. It was clear our client needed not only immediate removal but also a long-term preventive solution.
Our Approach: Comprehensive Inspection and Strategic Solutions
We tackled the problem step by step:
1. Detailed Inspection: Kyle conducted a deep inspection of the attic, looking for entry points and signs of squirrel activity.
2. Sealing Entry Points: After identifying vulnerable areas around the eaves, we sealed these access points to prevent further entry.
3. One-Way Door Installation: To allow the squirrels to exit without re-entering, Kyle installed a specially designed one-way door. This technique is both humane and effective, ensuring that the squirrels could safely leave.
Our strategy initially worked like a charm for "Squirrel 1." However, we soon learned that there was a more timid "Squirrel 2" who hesitated to leave after the first had exited. Kyle quickly adapted his approach, setting up a humane trap specifically for the second squirrel.
Resolving the Situation: Victory Against the Squirrel Trio
As fate would have it, a few days later, A Crain contacted us againâthere was still one more elusive squirrel (3) hiding out in the attic. Always ready to assist, Kyle returned and, after a few days of strategy and patience, successfully trapped this last squirrel too.
A Crain expressed their delight with our service. Hereâs what they had to say about their experience:
> âThis business is great. If you have a pest problem, call Kyle. Donât waste your time looking elsewhere. Overall, the service was incredible, communication was excellent, and Kyle is just a super nice guy that loves what heâs doing.â
The Happy Ending
By the end of this project, A Crain not only had their problem solved but also felt empowered by the experience. We successfully removed the squirrels and ensured their attic was secure against future intrusions.
This experience showcases the importance of calling in professionals when facing persistent pest issues. We pride ourselves on our thorough approach and the satisfaction of our clients.
