Transform Your Home with Security Solutions

At Wired for Life, we believe that home safety and security are of utmost importance. Recently, we had the pleasure of assisting a client, Nikhil K., who reached out to us with specific needs for enhancing his home security. He wanted to install two Nest wired floodlight cameras – one on the front of his garage and another on the back patio. Our team was thrilled to take on this project and provide Nikhil with peace of mind.

The Challenge

Before our intervention, Nikhil felt the need for an advanced surveillance system that would help monitor his property effectively. He had concerns about potential blind spots around his home and wanted to ensure that his family would always feel safe at home. However, he faced hesitation about the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of installing a camera in the back patio due to structural limitations and the complexity of the installation.

This is where our expertise came into play. Nikhil needed a professional who could navigate these challenges, provide practical solutions, and bring a balanced perspective on the costs involved.

Our Approach

Upon arriving at Nikhil's home, our first step was to conduct a thorough assessment of the locations he had in mind for the installations. We engaged him in discussions about the benefits and drawbacks of each location, ensuring he was fully informed before making any decisions.

After carefully considering the options, we concluded that while the garage location was ideal for the first camera, the back patio installation would require more extensive effort and resources — something that may not align with Nikhil’s budget and expectations. We appreciated Nikhil's openness to the discussion, which allowed us to provide candid and transparent advice.

Despite having purchased materials for the back patio installation, we respected Nikhil's decision to focus only on the garage camera. Our focus remained on ensuring he received the best value while minimizing costs where possible.

The Result

The outcome? A professionally installed Nest wired floodlight camera on the garage, which Nikhil felt comfortable and satisfied with. Our team ensured that the camera was perfectly positioned to cover all necessary angles, providing comprehensive surveillance while integrating seamlessly with the aesthetics of his home.

“We called Jonathan to install 2 nest wired floodlight cameras, one on the front of our garage and one on the back of our patio. Jonathan was very professional and walked us through the tradeoffs of installing these cameras in these locations. After lots of consideration, we realized that installing a camera in the back patio would be a lot of work and would be quite expensive for our house's type. Even though Jonathan had already bought parts for this construction, he was very understanding and charged us a very reasonable and fair fee for non-returnable materials, labor and the other installation on the garage door (which was very well done). I highly recommend getting Jonathan for installing your security cameras!” – Nikhil K. --- Homeowner
