Expert Electrician in Lafayette, CA
Why Lafayette Homeowners Keep Calling Junior for Electrical Work
When it comes to electrical work, homeowners in Lafayette, CA want someone they can actually trust — someone who shows up on time, knows what they're doing, and doesn't leave them with a bill that makes their eyes water. That's exactly the kind of experience we aim to deliver every single time at Marconis Construction & Electric Inc.
A recent visit from one of our Lafayette clients is a perfect example of what we're all about.
The Client's Situation
Like many homeowners in the East Bay, our client reached out needing reliable electrical help. Whether it's an aging panel, new outlets, lighting upgrades, or general electrical repairs, these are the kinds of jobs that require someone with real hands-on experience — not just someone who shows up and figures it out as they go.
Our founder, Junior Arauz, has been working in the electrical trade for over 16 years. He built Marconis Construction & Electric Inc from the ground up with a simple philosophy: do the work right, treat people well, and charge a fair price. That reputation has followed him throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, and it's what brings clients to us in Lafayette and beyond.
What We Brought to the Job
Junior handled this project personally, as he does with many of our electrical calls. His approach is straightforward:
- Diagnose the problem accurately before picking up a single tool
- Work efficiently so the client's day isn't disrupted any more than necessary
- Explain what's being done in plain language, not electrician jargon
- Charge fairly — no inflated quotes, no surprise add-ons
This isn't just how Junior operates on good days. It's the standard we hold ourselves to on every job, big or small.
What Our Client Had to Say
After the work was completed, our client left this review:
> "Junior is an amazing electrician. Super nice and very knowledgeable. Works quickly and is fairly priced."
> — Mialani, Lafayette, CA
That kind of feedback genuinely means a lot to us. "Knowledgeable," "quick," and "fairly priced" — those three things are exactly what we set out to be every time we walk through a client's door.
Our Track Record Speaks for Itself
We're proud to be licensed, bonded, and insured, which means our clients are protected from start to finish. And with a rating of 4.98 out of 5 stars across 99 reviews, we're not just saying we do good work — our clients are saying it for us.
Junior and the team at Marconis Construction & Electric Inc serve homeowners and businesses throughout the Lafayette, CA area and across the broader San Francisco Bay Area. Emergency Electrical Save Before Kitchen Install
When Her Electrician No-Showed Before a Kitchen Install, We Showed Up
There's a particular kind of stress that comes with a home renovation — the kind where everything has to happen in the right order, and one missing piece can throw the whole thing off. That's exactly the situation Erika found herself in when she reached out to us at Marconis Construction & Electric Inc.
The Problem: A Last-Minute Electrical Emergency
Erika had her countertop and backsplash installation scheduled for the very next day. Everything was lined up — except her electrician got caught up on another job and couldn't make it. No electrician meant no new electrical work done. And without the electrical work completed first, the countertop and backsplash installation couldn't move forward as planned.
She was, understandably, stressed to the max.
When she called us, we understood immediately that this wasn't a situation where we could schedule something for next week. This needed to happen now. That's the kind of call we take seriously.
What We Did: Fast, Clean, and Done Right
Junior headed out to Erika's home in Lafayette, CA and got straight to work. The job required running a new breaker line and completing the full electrical installation — work that had to be done correctly, not just quickly.
Here's what the job involved:
- Assessing the existing electrical panel to determine the right approach for the new breaker line
- Running the new breaker line from the panel to the kitchen area
- Installing the electrical components needed to support the upcoming countertop and backsplash work
- Keeping the work area clean throughout — because the countertop installers were coming the very next morning
The goal was simple: get it done right, get it done fast, and leave the space ready for the next crew to walk in and do their job without any issues.
The Result: Project Back on Track
By the time Junior was done, Erika had everything she needed. The electrical was in, the breaker line was run, and the space was clean and ready for her countertop and backsplash installation the following day.
What could have been a major disruption to her kitchen remodel timeline turned into a non-issue — and that's exactly the kind of outcome we aim for on every job.
> "My electrician got caught up on a job. My countertop and backsplash was being installed the next day. Stressed 100% but Jr came out, like Superman — ran a new breaker line, installed my electrical and saved the day. He worked fast, clean, amazing work. And a really cool guy."
> — Erika, Lafayette, CA
Why It Matters
Kitchen remodels are a big deal. There are multiple trades involved, tight scheduling windows, and a lot of money on the line. When one piece falls through, it can create a domino effect that delays everything and costs more in the long run.
Having an electrician you can actually count on — one who picks up the phone and shows up when it matters — makes all the difference.
At Marconis Construction & Electric Inc, we're a licensed, bonded, and insured contracting company proudly serving the San Francisco Bay Area. Junior Arauz, our founder, has been in the electrical trade for over 16 years, and that experience shows in how we handle jobs like this one — with precision, efficiency, and a genuine commitment to getting it right.
We currently hold a 4.98 out of 5 star rating across 101 reviews, and stories like Erika's are exactly why we take so much pride in what we do.
