These people made this whole process so much easier! You definitely get what you pay for.

In November of 2025, I hired NewHaus Roofing and construction to do a “full reroof” for $23,200. The day the roof was removed, Greg, the sales rep, came out and told me there was a big problem and he showed me some very deceiving close up photos of problem areas in my roof. He led me to believe that they needed to cover my entire roof with OSB (which should have been included in a “full reroof”) before they could continue which now meant a change order for $17,800, almost doubling the initial price I was quoted! I was beginning to feel pressured, deceived and manipulated and being abused as a senior citizen. But as my roof was now uncovered and they showed what they claimed were large holes with winter coming soon, I agreed to this change order. Later I found out these holes were much smaller than he made them seem and the “poor construction” of the original roof were areas left open to vent the attic.

They also claimed to not use subcontractors when in fact they do. The CEO actually told me this in a phone call.

Throughout this entire process the communication between me and the salesman, and the communication between the salesman and the subcontractors was HORRIBLE! He rarely answered my calls and I was never able to leave a message because his box was full. He told me multiple times he would be over and never showed up or even took a few seconds to let me know he wouldn’t be coming by after all. I canceled my own plans lots of times to wait for him to show up. I also never knew from day to day when anyone would be at my house working.

I also asked multiple times to see an invoice for material prices and labor for the change order and what I finally received was the poorest excuse for an invoice that I’d ever seen and this was coming from the CEO.

In the beginning I agreed to the higher price of the 2 options they gave me because I believed I was getting the 50 year “duration cool premium” shingles when in fact, I got the 30 year “duration cool” shingles- this is a very murky area for them- you will never get a straight answer.

The only thing I was satisfied with was the work that was done by the actual roofers who did the work, but then again only time will tell because the company mislead and deceived me repeatedly. After I sent the final payment, they sent me an email asking me to sign to finalize everything. Included was a survey asking me, between 1 and 5 how happy I was with the job. THEY had answered for ME with a 3 for satisfactory. I tried to change it and I was unable to. So I did NOT sign it. Another employee called me to ask if I would sign it and I said no. He asked what I would have given them. When I said zero, he told me I was entitled to my opinion. Apparently not if you won’t let me choose my own opinion!

I would not recommend this company to ANYONE! Especially to senior citizens.

You can tell they train their crews well. Everyone knew their role and did it safely.

Just a really good experience all around. Would hire them again in a heartbeat and tell all my friends to do the same.

They reinforced the roof around where we might add a future skylight. Forward-thinking.
