Transforming Yard Drainage & Irrigation

At NorthLand Landscapes LLC, we take pride in transforming outdoor spaces into functional, beautiful havens. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Alexander S. on two important projects that addressed both his irrigation and drainage needs.

The Challenge: Irrigation and Drainage Issues

When Alexander contacted us, he was facing two specific challenges that were affecting his yard. First, he needed a reliable irrigation system connected to a newly installed water meter. Navigating the permitting process for this new addition was daunting, and he wanted to ensure it was done correctly.

Second, Alexander was dealing with drainage issues in his yard. The heavy rain caused excessive runoff that left his property prone to flooding and damage. He needed expert advice on the best solutions to control water movement and prevent future problems.

Our Approach: Expert Solutions

Our team promptly scheduled a visit to assess Alexander's property. During our first meeting, we walked through his yard to understand the drainage issues and the best approach to install the irrigation system.

Irrigation System Installation

For the irrigation project, we guided Alexander through the necessary permitting process, ensuring everything was compliant with local regulations. Once we received approval, we installed a robust irrigation system that not only integrates well with the new water meter but also enhances the overall efficiency of watering the garden.

Fixing Drainage Problems

Next, we focused on the drainage challenges. Our team thoroughly evaluated the yard and identified the optimal placement for catch basins that could effectively connect with the gutters. This strategic positioning aimed to reduce runoff and channel water flow where it needed to go.

In just two days, our dedicated team completed the drainage project. We made sure to keep much of the grass intact, ensuring a seamless look post-installation. Alexander was thrilled to report that he hasn't had any drainage issues since we completed the work!

"Highly recommend Robert and the team. They've done two projects for me and both were wonderful. They stand by their work." - Alexander S. --- Homeowner

The Results: A Beautifully Transformed Outdoor Space

The transformation of Alexander's yard is a prime example of what our team at NorthLand Landscapes can achieve. From expertly connecting the irrigation system to resolving the drainage concerns, we not only improved the functionality of Alexander’s outdoor space but also preserved its beauty.

We believe in standing by our work, and we were pleased to return to address a minor issue with one of the gutter pipes that surfaced after a storm. Our team immediately re-buried it at no charge, further proving our commitment to quality service.
