Overview
At Permanent Solutions Plumbing & Drain, we take immense pride in providing lasting plumbing solutions. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Sam J., who reached out to us with urgent plumbing issues. Let's take a closer look at this transformative project and how our team delivered exceptional results.
The Challenge
Sam contacted us after discovering an alarming situation while doing yard work: water spraying from a pinhole leak beneath the house in the crawlspace. It was critical to address the leak as soon as possible, so he promptly called our technician, Alex. Understanding the urgency of the matter, Alex quickly scheduled a visit for the same day.
During his inspection, Alex not only patched up the pinhole leak in the copper piping but also conducted a whole-house inspection. He identified multiple areas that needed attention in the near future. Sam shared with us that they had plans to eventually replace all the aging copper pipes with modern PEX tubing, making this a timely opportunity.
Our Approach
Upon confirming the decision to replace the copper piping, our team immediately set to work. Here’s how we approached the project:
-
Preparation: We planned the replacement process for all pipes in the crawlspace, ensuring minimal disruption to the household.
-
Material Selection: We replaced the old copper pipes with high-quality PEX tubing. This material is flexible, resistant to scale and chlorine, and generally results in longer-lasting performance compared to traditional materials.
-
Execution: Our technicians worked efficiently, executing the entire pipe replacement while also providing excellent customer service. Sam noted their friendliness and in-depth knowledge throughout the process.
-
Additional Services: While at the residence, we also serviced the previously installed tankless water heater and installed a new toilet. Furthermore, we replaced a cracked cast iron sewage pipe from the guest bathroom, addressing other pressing plumbing needs that Sam highlighted.
The Results
The final outcome was a transformed plumbing system that not only resolved the immediate issue of the leak but also ensured the home was equipped with reliable, modern piping. The switch to PEX greatly enhances durability and efficiency.
Our commitment to exceptional service left a lasting impression on Sam. He mentioned:
“Permanent Solutions will be my go to for my plumbing needs. Thanks again Alex!” --- Homeowner

We are proud to have provided Sam and his family with the peace of mind that comes from effective plumbing solutions. Our dedication to thorough inspections, quality materials, and timely service is what sets us apart at Permanent Solutions Plumbing & Drain.
