Our thirty one year old AC unit died near the end of summer. Not wanting to wait until next year, I interviewed multiple HVAC contractors, one of which was Preciado Air. Ultimately, we chose Preciado Air. They weren't the cheapest nor the most expensive. We set a date for the install. They didn't give me a time frame, they said they'll be here at 9:00 AM, they rolled up at exactly 9:00 AM.

Mario and his crew of three got right to work. 6.5 hours later the job was complete. New AC condenser, furnace and some duct mods. They were professional, very knowledgeable, clean and kept me updated as the work progressed.

When our 35+ year old condenser failed this summer, we interviewed & got quotes from 5 HVAC companies. Most spent a lot of time with us either in person or on the phone. Preciado Air Conditioning was very highly rated, and we liked Andrew when he came out, saw the old system (the furnace/evaporator and ducts were original & 50+ years old). He was professional, friendly, courteous and laid out multiple options and prices for us to choose from, and provided a lot of valuable information to go along with out own research. Preciado Air Conditioning wasn't the least expensive, nor were they the most. Andrew and Mario and their crew completed the bulk of the installation in two days, with a couple minor hiccups which were thru no fault of their own, including running all new ducts and registers. Andrew was conscientious to keep us informed of the testing and approvals, and to make the required corrections.
The new system works unbelievably great, cools the house quickly and is easy to control, plus the furnace-evaporator is so much smaller than the old system.
We are very happy and satisfied with the new Trane system, and the work Preciado Air Conditioning did for us.

The first time we used Preciado Air through our Homeowners insurance was a year ago and they did a great job. We have an older unit so it was no surprise that it stopped working during the really hot days in Santa Clarita. This time the fan blower motor had to be replaced. Mario's response time and communication is outstanding. His team works very hard to get to every customer in a timely manner. This is the busiest time of the year but they were able to come by the same day to assess the issue. Then found the right part the next morning and installed in the afternoon the next day. During the process we got texts with updates on the process which is very helpful when your tenants are suffering from an extreme heat wave and we were stressed because of it. The heatwave hit hard in Palmdale this week--right when I had family coming to spend the weekend. I called Mario on Friday afternoon, and even though it was a last-minute request on a busy day, he went above and beyond to accommodate me and got a tech out right away.

The tech quickly diagnosed the issue but didn't have the part on hand. He assured me Mario would be by before the end of the day--and sure enough, after finishing his last job, Mario personally came over to complete the repair. He made sure my system was back up and running because he didn't want to leave me in a bind with my family over.

Andrew came to my home to give me a free estimate, and explained everything very clearly. I got several estimates, but thought Preciado Air was giving me the best quality equipment and installation for the price. Andrew and Mario came to my home, showed me the equipment, and began the installation. They were finished way sooner than I expected, and of course they made sure everything was working as expected. They also brought drop cloths and cleaned up as they went. I am someone who researches every bit of information about equipment I can get my hands on, because I know so little about HVAC. HVAC systems are so incredibly expensive these days. I highly recommend Preciado Air.
