We moved into a home with mini split units previously installed, one of the outdoor units worked last winter and this winter, no dice. Got quotes and spoke with multiple other HVAC companies in regards to repairing the system. After some ridiculously insane quotes and some techs left scratching their heads, Cade came out and gave us some much needed answers. He was willing to pressure test/diagnose and begin repairing the system at a price that we both felt was fair. He was in and out in a matter of hours and left us with our system working properly as it should. I found out mini splits are tricky units, especially if not installed correctly. I appreciate his willingness to work with us on the notion of fix rather than replace even if our unit wasn't the most popular or well known brand. Even if all else failed, his quote on replacing our system with a more known brand with a warranty he could stand by was over half the cost of other big name HVAC companies we got quotes from in the Denver/foothills area. We have another outdoor unit that may need work in the future, I will not hesitate to give Russell Comfort Solutions a call. Thanks again for the great work.

They are absolutely amazing — you’d think I’m just a friend giving them a good review, but I’m not (though I’d love to be their friend after this experience!). I originally hired someone else to figure out why my furnace wasn’t staying on. The first guy opened the panel, didn’t touch anything, and immediately told me I needed a new electric board for $1,200 — and if that didn’t fix it, I’d need a whole new furnace for $10,000! I had zero trust in that, so I told him I’d think about it.
Then I called Russel Comfort Solutions, and from the very first call, I could tell this company was different. The person who answered the phone already had ideas about what the issue could be — which really impressed me, since most people who answer phones at HVAC companies don’t usually have hands-on knowledge. I later found out the company is owned by two brothers. One of the brothers came to my house, did a full diagnosis, and took the time to explain everything he was checking. In the end, all I needed was a new flame sensor — nothing more. I was only charged the service fee, and my furnace is now working perfectly.

Great experience with Russel! He is very thorough and even caught an ongoing gas leak in my furnace.
