When we received a call from Hillary Gage, she was in quite a predicament. Living in beautiful San Diego, she and her family were experiencing extreme heat, and their air conditioning unit had unexpectedly gone out just as temperatures peaked. However, Nick's expertise didn’t stop there. While inspecting further, he noted that although the fan was running, the air it was expelling was only at ambient temperature—indicating an underlying issue. He checked the coolant pressure and discovered it was completely empty.

Upon further investigation, he found that the roofing company, which had just finished work on Hillary's house, had inadvertently punctured the cooling line with a nail. This was a critical discovery, and we pride ourselves on our attention to detail in such situations.

The After: Comfort Restored

Nick documented everything thoroughly, taking photos and explaining each step of the troubleshooting process to Hillary. This level of communication not only reassured her but also equipped her with the necessary information to address the roofers. Following Nick’s advice, she contacted the roofing company, who quickly dispatched their own technician the next day to rectify the issue at no additional cost to her.
