He was warm, professional, and extremely thorough. He took the time to carefully review my house, showed me how the floor had lifted as a result of the settlement and foundation damage, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand.

What impressed me most was how transparent and detailed the estimate process was. Lee showed me photos of the damage, including areas under the house that I had never seen, and even shared video from the crawl space. His estimate was competitive, but more importantly, everything was clearly explained. Because his review was so thorough, he was confident there would not be scope creep, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. There is nothing better than a major home repair project being completed at the agreed budget without surprise negotiations, added invoices, or stress.

Compared to the other companies, Sunshine’s estimate was also much more transparent. It included engineering fees, and Lee was upfront that in my case I did not need custom engineering because the city-approved foundation repair engineering plans could be used. That honesty mattered to me and helped build trust.

The work itself was first class. The crew was efficient, courteous, and completed a 22-foot foundation replacement with four under-house underpinnings in a little over a week. My wife and I are beyond pleased with the result. They were also responsive any time I had questions, and everyone I interacted with, including the main office, was professional and helpful.

As a nice bonus, they even installed new crawl space grilles at no additional cost so everything looked clean and finished.

I honestly thought foundation repair would not feel as satisfying as something visible like a kitchen remodel, but I was wrong. Seeing the finished work has been incredibly satisfying. The house looks newer, cleaner, and more solid, and now I’m even planning to update the gutters to match the freshened-up look.

We have never had a more positive experience with contractors than with Sunshine. I highly recommend them for your foundation work! We contracted Sunshine to complete our CA EBB program and from the moment I spoke with Diana the process was so smooth. Solomon was the consultant who thoroughly inspected our foundation and we discovered things we never knew about our house before. Coming from 2 engineers POV, he was extremely knowledgable and knew exactly what he was doing. I signed over our EBB portal to Diana who took care of every step of the process. She kept us updated on progress and paperwork, and when the day came for the retrofit construction, the crew was extremely fast, efficient, and thorough with Juan, the foreman, on site working alongside the crew. Everything was done perfectly, cleanup was fast, and final inspection was completed much faster than anticipated. We absolutely will be calling them for any future foundation work we may need for our other structures!

I discovered an 8' long horizontal crack in my stucco near the slab line and was worried my slab was compromised. Adam L came out for the free estimate. After investigating he reassured me the crack was in the stucco. Not the slab. Communication with office and with Adam was excellent. He was on time. He called me back later to give advice on what kind of repair I might need from a stucco guy. Excellent company.

Sunshine foundation did an earthquake brace and bolt retrofit and some crack repairs on our foundation for a 70 year old home. They were very speedy, communicative, and clear about their action plan. Lee, Diana, and Eddie at Sunshine made this job smooth. I would recommend sunshine repairs to my friends and family!
