Stunning Patio Makeover in Chicago

At SuperGreen Hardscapes, we are passionate about transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional areas that enhance your lifestyle. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with a wonderful customer, Hilary, who had a clear vision for her backyard but needed our expertise to bring it to life.

Before: A Space Needing Revitalization

When Hilary first contacted us, her backyard was in dire need of attention. The old brick pavers were worn and uneven, making the area less inviting. Additionally, she wanted to create a special spot for relaxation during the summer heat—a splash pad for dipping her feet. Her existing landscaping included outdated shrubs, which cluttered the space rather than beautified it. While Hilary had already sketched out her ideas, the challenge was in executing them flawlessly.

Our Transformation Process

Our team quickly got to work on Hilary's project. Here’s what we accomplished:

1. Removal of Old Pavers: We carefully removed the old brick pavers, ensuring a smooth and safe environment to start fresh.

2. Leveling the Area: Next, we leveled the area to create a solid foundation for the new hardscape.

3. Installation of New Pavers: We selected high-quality Unilock pavers, which were installed with precision to ensure consistency with Hilary's plans, down to the exact inch.

4. Creating the Splash Pad: We sculpted the splash pad area, creating a mini pool that could easily accommodate a refreshing dip. This added a fun and unique feature to her yard.

5. Landscaping Enhancements: To complement the newly installed patio, we laid fresh sod and widened the front walkway. Old shrubs were removed, and we added vibrant new plants, along with a tidy brick border wall and fresh mulch to complete the aesthetic.

The Result: A Dream Backyard

The outcome of our labor was nothing short of spectacular! Hilary now boasts a stunning outdoor area that not only looks great but functions beautifully. The combination of the new pavers and refreshed landscaping has transformed her backyard into a summer oasis for relaxation and enjoyment.

“Alvaro and his team were great to work with. We had a plan already drawn up for a new patio and some new landscaping, and Alvaro executed it perfectly.” – Hilary S. --- Homeowner

Her satisfaction reflects our dedication to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and personalized service. We were thrilled to have helped realize her vision and enhance her enjoyment of outdoor living.
