Expert Clog Removal by Our Team

At Texas Quality Plumbing, we take immense pride in providing our customers with efficient and effective plumbing solutions. Recently, we had the opportunity to help one of our clients, Roland J., who was facing a particularly stubborn clogged drain at his home in Houston. This project beautifully encapsulates why timely plumbing intervention is crucial for household maintenance.

The Before: A Stubborn Clog

When Roland contacted us through Thumbtack, he described his frustration with a drain that was completely clogged. He had no idea that this issue stemmed from a blockage caused by hair trapped in the P-trap just a few feet from the drain. After hearing his concerns, our team immediately prioritized his service request and scheduled a visit for that very Saturday between noon and 1 PM.

Our Approach: Clear Communication and Expertise

Upon arriving at Roland's home, I made sure to assess the situation thoroughly. I listened to his concerns and explained our intended approach. Understanding the source of the problem is key for us, so I opted to use a plumbing snake, a trusted tool for clearing stubborn clogs.

The Operation

1. Diagnosis: I carefully maneuvered the snake through the drain, but to my surprise, it went up through the vent instead.
2. Solution: Recognizing the need to address the vent blockage, I headed up to the roof and ran the snake through the vent, which cleared the obstruction successfully. BINGO! The clog was gone!
3. Education: After resolving the issue, I took the time to educate Roland about how the drains work, including the importance of the P-trap and how blockages can occur.

"He educated me on how the drains worked. I had no idea that there was a P-trap just a few feet in from the drain. This had become clogged with hair, which he pulled out and showed me." – Roland J. --- Homeowner

The After: A Satisfied Customer

The result of our intervention was not just a cleared drain but also a delighted customer. Roland expressed his satisfaction with our work, highlighting the professionalism and personable nature of our services.

Our commitment to customer satisfaction extends beyond simply fixing problems; we want our clients to feel informed and confident about their plumbing systems. Roland’s review is a testament to our ongoing efforts to provide quality workmanship and clear communication:

"For the time spent, the issue resolved and done by a very personable pro, we are very happy that we got Trust Plumbing. They had a lot of “5” ratings, and I understand why. They are real good." --- Homeowner
