Handyman Triumph: Porch & Tech Upgrades

At Travis Handyman, we take immense pride in our ability to enhance homes through dedicated service and a meticulous approach. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Sandra T. in Austin, who needed assistance with several projects around her home, both inside and out. Today, we're excited to share the transformation we achieved together!

Before: Challenges Faced

When Sandra reached out to us, she described several tasks that needed attention. The first challenge was the small amount of outside work required on her front porch. Additionally, there was a broken electrical cover behind her washing machine that needed replacement. Sandra had accumulated a few items that required assembly, including a bedside chest, two tower fans, and a solar birdhouse – a thoughtful birthday gift! The broken cover and the assembly project left Sandra overwhelmed, as she wanted everything set up perfectly.

The Transformation Process

Our team willingly tackled Sandra’s list of projects. Starting with the porch, we carefully assessed the area and completed the necessary repairs to ensure it was safe and welcoming. Next, we turned our focus to the inside of the home, replacing the broken electrical cover behind the washing machine with a new fixture, restoring safety and functionality.

The highlight of this project was assembling the various items that Sandra had purchased. Our experienced handyman took special care while putting together the bedside chest to provide Sandra with a stylish and functional addition to her bedroom. We then assembled the two tower fans, ensuring they were fully operational for her comfort.

One particularly unique task was setting up the solar birdhouse. Not only did we assemble it and place it on a tree, but we also programmed the camera and installed the related app on Sandra's phone. This setup allows Sandra to receive notifications when birds visit her feeder, and even watch and record the activity – a delightful addition to her outdoor experience!

After: Customer Delight

The successful completion of these projects filled Sandra with appreciation. She expressed her satisfaction with our services:

"Taras did a good job on a small amount of outside work on my front porch. Inside, he replaced an electrical cover behind my washing machine that had been broken. My main projects were putting a few items together for me. He assembled a bedside chest, two tower fans and a solar birdhouse that was a birthday gift. I was so appreciated that he could put it on the tree for me, program the camera and add an app to my phone. My phone has notifications when a bird is feeding and I can watch and record. It was a pleasure meeting Taras who was very professional. I will definitely ask him back when I have other projects." --- Homeowner

Sandra’s glowing feedback not only reinforces the quality of our work but also exemplifies our commitment to making homeowners' lives easier.

We are thrilled to have been chosen for Sandra's home improvement projects! By addressing her needs with precision and care, we transformed her space and brought joy to her home with our handyman services.
