Transforming Doors: A Perfect Fit

Transforming Doors: A Perfect Fit

At Triangle Service Pros LLC, we take pride in providing top-notch handyman services to our community in Raleigh, NC. Recently, we received a call from Bonnie DiSalvo, who was facing a frustrating problem with her backdoor. There was an undeniable gap at the bottom of the door, so much so that she could literally see outside! Bonnie needed a reliable solution to this maintenance issue and reached out to our team for help.

The Problem

Bonnie’s concern was not just the aesthetic aspect of the gap; it was also a significant issue for security and energy efficiency. A poorly sealed door can allow drafts in and pests access inside, making it imperative to resolve the situation promptly. We knew we needed to act fast to provide Bonnie with the peace of mind she deserved.

Our Solution

Upon arriving at Bonnie’s home, our handyman, Sam Childers, quickly assessed the door's condition. Armed with a plan, he meticulously worked to remedy the situation. Here’s what our team did:

1. Installed New Weather Stripping: We provided Bonnie with quality weather stripping that effectively eliminated the gap, ensuring that her door sealed tightly.

2. Tightened All Hardware: Sam took the extra step of tightening all the hardware. This not only improved the alignment of the door but made locking it significantly easier as well.

3. Checked the Front Door’s Security: Not content to stop at just the backdoor, Sam also made sure that Bonnie’s front door handle and deadbolt were secure, checking for any potential vulnerabilities.

Sam displayed exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that everything was lined up perfectly. The door transformation was not just about fixing an immediate issue; it was about enhancing the overall functionality and security of Bonnie's home.

The Results

Once the work was completed, Bonnie was thrilled. She expressed her gratitude in a detailed review, emphasizing how Sam had gone above and beyond her initial maintenance request.

“Sam definitely went above & beyond... The door is now in perfect working order!!! You worked fast & efficiently and answered any questions I had!!! It’s always nice to have professional, knowledgeable people who you can count on to get the job done right!!”
