Yesterday while I was doing a load of laundry, the cycle started to drain and my toilet started to make a weird gurgling sound and started to overflow. I realized that something wasn't right and shut off my wash. It was obvious that something was causing the water to not drain from wash, which forced my toilet to overflow and start seeping water onto the floor. I immediately called dollar plumbing and Al said he would be there within the hour. He arrived as quickly as possible and was able to assess the problem. Within 20 - 30 minutes he had cleared the blockage and our problem was solved. He was efficient and informative. I will definitely be calling again if there is ever another problem in the future.

Al saved me, toilet was overflowing and would not quit. I called dollar plumbing he came within 45 min pulled my toilet can a snake and I'm back in business. It's very obvious he knows what he is doing.

My wife and I came home to our apartment the other day and found that our sink was backed up and the sink was filled with dirty water. I bought a little sink plumbing kit and put a plastic hair drain clog remover down the drain but didn't get much of anything. I then put a 20" stainless steel drain gripper and didn't get anything. I even tried plunging the sink as well but no success.

I finally just took apart the Ptrap and drained the water out of the sink and pipe and noticed the sink drain stopper, the pipe, and ptrap were clean or at least nothing is blocking anything. I also made sure to turn off the hot and cold water from the main valve under the sink, but (1) minute after I took apart the PTrap, scorching hot water came out from the pipe in the walls. I thought the bathroom was going to flood! It was a good thing I had another empty water pan under to catch it and nearly filled that one up without making a mess or spilling any water. Unfortunately, even though I had kitchen gloves on, I managed to burn my hand a bit from the water coming out of the wall pipe, nothing too bad thankfully.

I quickly put the pTrap and piping back together before I had a chance to put the longer metal snake down the wall pipe and, more importantly, before more nasty scorching water came spewing out. I had a feeling that someone else's drain or the common drain that's connected to another tenant/s space is clogged and it's backing up our sink. I finally decided to turn the water off, put the pipes back together and just call Dollar Plumbing.

I trusted the reviews on Yelp as they had the best reviews and I'm glad I did. Al came over within 30 minutes of calling and came to inspect the situation. He immediately knew what was wrong and knew how to fix it. He was a true professional and very courteous. He showed up and out of respect put shoe covers on to make sure he doesn't track any dirt in or out. I'd like to think I'm pretty handy but It personally took me all night to try and fix my problem and failed, Al showed up within 30 minutes of calling and within 30 minutes of working on my drain he fixed the issue and clean up everything after! He even waived the show up fee and only charged me for the repair. Dollar Plumbing was fast, efficient, professional, knowledgeable, personable, friendly, an honest expert, dependable, calm but prideful, and VERY affordable. He spent a good amount of time listening to me, asking a lot of questions, and educating me on the problem and how he fixed it. After talking with Al and getting to know him I would trust Al in my home if I wasn't even home to fix the issue. Al is a hard worker and a man that isn't afraid to just get the job done no matter what it takes. He isn't afraid to get dirty and he's fast!

I called at least 5 other plumbers and Dollar Plumbing had the best reviews, the best pricing, and they even offer a yearly and quarterly maintenance program and will come back at a quarter of the cost just to clean and maintain your drains. Which saves a ton of money because when living in an apartment I've always had to call a plumber at least once a year since apartments share a common drain. This would alleviate the huge cost if properly maintained.

Dollar Plumbing is a family own business and a locally owned business and I am a true believer in supporting your local companies. Al was also very passionate about teaching his knowledge and wanting to help a younger apprentice, so if you know anyone wanting to get into Plumbing or someone out of high school looking for a job Al would love to take someone who is coachable under his wing and teach them the trade. Dollar Plumbing also will give you a fixed price to fix the issue so you know what you are going to pay when he walks out the door and won't be left with a huge bill. They can also come diagnose the issue and leave you with a written quote if you needed to reschedule the repair and think about it. They are very willing to work with the customers. I would recommend everyone and there mothers to call Dollar Plumbing every time you need a plumber for residential or commercial. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Had a great experience with Dollar Plumbing gave me a window of coming here between 9am-11am arrived at 8:45 am .. very courteous asked questions, looked at my toilets and fixed them both promptly .. and cleaned up afterwards .. would use them again

Al from Dollar Plumbing just saved the day! Honestly I went with Dollar Plumbing because they just charge a flat reasonable rate to come out and assess the issue and then it was up to me whether or not I wanted to continue with the service based on the estimate. The "other guys" won't do that. I had standing water in my tub and tried every googled remedy on my own to unclog it...just assuming it was hair - but it actually wasn't. I called to make a next day appt, the gal who answered the phone gave me a 2 hour window the next day and Al showed up within 30 minutes of the start time. He assessed the issue, explained to me what the problem was, I asked a ton of questions, he was very patient and answered all my questions so that I could make an educated decision on whether or not to have him perform the service that he suggested. Not only did he perform the service, he checked my pipes in the crawl space for any potential future issues or existing leaks. Once the the issue was unclogged, he even went back into the bathroom and rinsed down the tub to clear it of any debris, which I thought personally went above and beyond what I called him to do. Before leaving he took the time to discuss with me preventative maintenance that I can perform on my plumbing going forward. I don't always write yelp reviews but felt the need to come and write about Al and his outstanding service. It's nice to know I can trust Dollar Plumbing, and receive exceptional service. I will definitely use them in the future(hopefully not too soon in the future..haha)
