Sometimes when you've been doing business with a company for over 30 years and you have to call them for some unexpected equipment problems you get a good feeling for calling in the experts. Today was that kind of day. Our home Air Conditioner was giving us some problems over the weekend and though we were able to get it back up and running we knew it needed a little more attention. (Cause and effect). We contacted the after hours number and left a message hoping to get in line to be serviced some time Monday morning. (Just in case). A few minutes before opening and we were contacted by a member of their professional office staff. They assured us that they would have a tech at our home in an hour. I explained that perhaps our call was now a lower priority and if there were more pressing ones perhaps they could be attended to first. I was assured they had plenty of available techs and they would be sending out one of their best. Shortly after nine as promised our tech Charles arrived and after explaining to him what we had encountered he quickly deduced that our system might have been a little low on freon but he would check it to be certain. He suggested that our 11 year old unit was out of warranty and that the coil make have a slow leak in it. He could charge the system back to full but there was a chance that the leak, if significant might require repair which could be costly. Whenever you find yourself in situations like this you always like options. Charles never attempted to upsell any repairs and understood not wanting to put a lot of money into an aging system. As a consumer that was truly appreciated. He went about charging the system and we went about hoping indeed that what we faced was a one off or at least a slow leak in the system. The A-Plus family, (and they are a family owned operation) have always treated us fairly like that for over 30 years of our AC Needs. It's why we keep going back to them. You can't do better than an A+!
(This was a review I left four years ago.....Google only allows you one review but as many "Edits" as you would like) You know no one wants to pay for a service call these days but our furnace was out and with winter's chill upon us there was no time to hesitate in calling the fine folks from A-Plus. There was some concern that a tech might not be able to make it out to our home without an after hours service call but Craig from the office contacted me a short time afterwards and stated that one of their techs was finishing a job and could be at our place around 5:00 PM.. Not thirty minutes later and David informed us that the tech had finished his other stop early and was heading our way and would be there in the next 30 to 40 minutes.
Donald arrived and promptly went about diagnosing the problem with the furnace all the while not seeming to being bothered by my watching him over the shoulder. He explained to me the basic functioning of the controls as he went about systematically working through his trouble shoot as I explained to him all of he problem areas that I had previously looked into earlier that day. In short order he had isolated the problem and had the house warm again in no time.
Like I say no one wants to pay for a service call but watching Donald's ability to diagnose this problem, (which trust me, didn't show up on any YouTube video I watched that day) was worth the price of admission. In a day in age in which one frets about being
"taken to the cleaners" for repair issues outside of one's comprehension once again A Plus and their team of experts in the field of HVAC repair show why you really can't do better than an A-Plus!

We have used A-Plus for almost as long as we have lived in our 30-year old home and don't intend to ever change companies because we have been so pleased with how they do business.
They installed the first Lennox HVAC system years ago & now a second one. Always providing quick, courteous, competent & reliable service & communication. Always a "live" person to talk with when we have called-- they even have an after hours call line for emergencies.
The paperwork that needed to be completed for the new system was pretty involved & complicated, but needed to be done to qualify for warranties, current rebates & tax credits, etc.
Their wonderful, kind & very knowledgeable coordinator, Andrea, patiently provided the needed details, explaining everything to our complete satisfaction. This meant so much to us! Sadly, this kind of service is pretty rare these days.
There were many other impressive parts & details about our total recent experience that I won't take the time to go into now as this is suppose to only be a short "review" & not a novel. :)
Just Add A-Plus to your AC needs. You won't be disappointed!

We had a great experience with the team at A-Plus! Very communicative throughout the process from the first meeting with Greg to scheduling and processing with Andee to the installation with Frankie and his crew. Everyone was professional and friendly. The process was hassle-free and we were able to make changes right up to the day before installation. Will definitely recommend them.

Great company, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Expensive but in line with what it costs now a days. The A/C is working great and totally worth the 16k for a 4 ton unit. Love A-Plus
