I had high hopes for Jose and all about landscaping. The analysis was thorough, he sounded like he knew what he was doing and the price was reasonable.

However that's where the positives ended. Once I confirmed that I wanted to move forward, Jose kept moving the date out. Finally we had a confirmed date nearly two months later than initially intended and after confirming on the phone the day prior, Jose never showed up.

He has since stopped returning calls altogether. His son who was responsive via email before the no show has also completely stopped responding. It has been 10 days with absolutely no communication.

This was particularly painful because we passed up other contractors who are now too busy to do the work. We also had to coordinate the work with both our neighbors and the HOA and all the approvals and joint preparation had been completed and now we have egg on our face and nothing to show for it.

The only reason I can imagine he did this too us is that as the spring set in perhaps he acquired more profitable contracts. To me this means he prioritizes profit over customers or integrity.

I don't do business with that kind of person and I hope you don't either.

This company really has problems. Again I had a response via Yelp but he never got back to me. When they did say that they were going to come out they never came and then when I contacted them a second time they said they'll be out and they never came. The third time they said they were coming out and they never came. This company is horrible you can't trust them they probably will do a lousy job and take your money. Stay away from them!!!

I was very happy with Jose and his team. From the free estimate, which was very reasonable, to Jose shifting his crew's schedule to get work done before rain hit, I was very satisfied with All About Landscaping.

They did intensive spring cleaning of leaves and debris, cut down 4 trees and hauled them away, mulched my entire property and put in some sharp edges! It would've taken me a few full weekends to do half as much work, and these guys did it better than I could've.

I works with Jose on getting two large trees, one small tree and couple of shrubs taken down. With the snow, it was a challenge to get a date to properly work on cutting down the trees. They came out four times between two snow storms to get the job done. They were patient with scheduling.

I got three quotes for the job and their price was very reasonable. Most importantly, they were highly profesional and knew exactly how to cut down large trees to avoid causing damage. They would walk on the branches to get the rope around to make sure the branches would fall in the right direction. And they didn't take any short cuts. They were methodical in each step. The large trees had roots all over my yard, including area where cable wires were running. I was stressed thinking they may not be able to get some of the roots out due to the challenge with wires. But they did! They were careful and didn't cut any lines! I highly recommend this company if you are looking for a professional who can do a difficult job well done.

After some of the major storms this past summer and fall, I noticed my yard would get overwhelmed with rainwater ... creating big ponds that occasionally seeped into my shed. I then found six reputable companies (most from Yelp) who surveyed my property, then gave me their plans and pricing on how to "give me back my yard." When Jose (owner) came out, he and I went through every corner, coming up with a fairly detailed plan to address the drainage and erosion issues. Based on Yelp reviews I read (of All About Landscaping (AAL)) and my discussions with Jose, I immediately knew I had to go with him and his team. To sum up the project, they put 4x4 pressure treated timbers around my shed (plus pvc trim above the timbers) to help protect the shed from standing water. They extended my sump pump pipe by 10 feet, terminating to a pop up. The biggest 2 efforts were (a) creating a medium-sized simple dry well and (b) regrading the yard so that rain spreads evenly and the yard pitches towards the dry well. This required spreading out several tons of topsoil/compost mix throughout the entire backyard. They also connected my side-yard downspouts to two underground PVC extensions (each terminating to a pop up emitter). Finally, the team finished work I started weeks ago: building a 100 ft2 permeable patio ... something I knew they would do better than I ever could (eg I don't have a brick saw). In addition to Jose doing amazing to work, his son and co-owner, Kristian, was very patient in answering my many questions (there's so much I'm STILL learning!). Kristian was also adept at guiding the AAL crew on the various tasks (eg the dry well pit). Of course, the AAL crew working for Jose and Kristian were also amazing ... from the first hour on the job until they finished up this afternoon. I will no doubt be a repeat customer, starting this Spring when I'll need to seed or sod the back yard. Just incredible quality work all around at a competitive price!

The company I was using wasn't detail oriented or timely so I reached out to all about landscaping after seeing their reviews. They performed lawn mowing, trimming, leaf blowing, weed applications, and overall yard cleanup. So far I have been very impressed with their service. They have a team that shows up to perform the service and they don't take any shortcuts. Kristian is very fast to respond and addressed your requests timely. Jose is knowledgeable, friendly, and does a great job coordinating with the rest of the team. If you are looking for an organized company that gets the job done right, then look no further.
