Juan did some plumbing work in my home, and I couldnāt be happier with the results. He arrived on time, completed everything properly, and it was clear he really knows his trade. On top of that, he took the time to explain a few tips for care and maintenance, which I truly appreciated. I would absolutely recommend his services without hesitation.

Avoid at all costs.
Juan installed an outlet for my oven ā and now the oven gives an electric shock. When I told him this was a dangerous issue that needed urgent attention, he scheduled me a week out and then never showed up.
I reminded him he was fully responsible for the faulty installation. Instead of fixing it, he offered only a partial refund. After I refused and warned him Iād report him to the board if he didnāt correct his mistake, he stopped answering altogether. Two weeks later: no fix, no refund, no response.
Juan is polite when he first walks in, but once something goes wrong, he disappears. Faulty electrical work isnāt just sloppy ā it puts families at risk. From reading other reviews, this seems to be a pattern. If the job goes smoothly, consider yourself lucky. But if he makes a mistake ā even a dangerous one ā donāt expect accountability.
This manās work is a safety hazard. Do not hire him.

I am re-writing this because it would not show up, I am removing the text messages as maybe thats why it wasn't listing:
Quality is revealed by actions when things go wrong, not just when everything goes right and Juan failed
I used this company to help me finish the inside of a shed. He did electric, drywall, flooring, AC install and paint. Everything went for the most part ok, some details weren't ideal but I hired a handyman so I wasn't expecting perfection and I was ok with that. I'd say overall I was happy. It wasn't cheap, it was a 10x10 shed with loft and all in for labor was in the ballpark of $4500, actually ended up being pretty expensive. Well its been 4 months and the AC started to leak and grow mold. I asked them to come back and check it out. The way he installed the AC was different than the manufacturer recommended and I had asked him to install so I said I'd like him to come in and see if the way he installed is causing the problem. He replied he would come back but if its an AC leak its outside of his warranty. I said that's ok but if it's due to the way you installed it then Id like you to fix the issue. He agreed. It was a perfectly cordial conversation and he said he is busy this week but will come next week. With no other communication besides me texting him a few days later to please tell me what day he can come so I can arrange to be home he has now blocked me. This wasn't the first job he did for me. This was the 5th job I had hired him to do. We never had problems with each other at all besides him not showing up when he said he would one time.
Beware you will be dealing with someone that has little pride in what they do. Does not stand by their work, does only the bare minimum. Do not hire him for anything substantial because if there is a problem you'll be on your own.

I'm sorry I have to reply here: It should never be a courtesy to assess problems with your work so close to completion. I'm calling you unprofessional (did I use that word?) for blocking a customer who has only respectfully asked you to come investigate a problem with your work. I never asked you to do anything for free or unreasonable. I was respectful and agreed if the issue was the AC and not your installation it wouldn't be covered by you. I made no mention of a warranty period. I merely stated if the problem arose from you installing the AC unit differently than i asked and the manufacturer suggested, you should help fix the mistake. I accepted that you would come the next week. My only demand was that you tell me what day you could come as we had an issue previously where you didnāt show up on the day you said and I wasted a day at home from work. I see no disrespect in that request. The only disrespect was on your end, with no rhyme or reason, blocking my number. I waited nearly 4 full days to hear from you about when you were coming. Messaged a day later again and then waited another 4 days to give you the benefit of the doubt that maybe you were out of the country and my calls would go through the follow week when you said you were come to my home. That is why you are unprofessional.
Regarding negotiating prices, i only negotiated with once job and paid over $4500 in labor alone to do this job. I always rounded up to pay him back when he sent receipts, never questioned a single item bought for any job. If he thinks any price is unfair he should use his voice and speak up for himself and not take the job. He didnāt because the amounts i paid were fair. I also told him I had a few small jobs for him to do when he come check the AC so he'd get paid no matter what.
His lack of communication is exactly what led this review being posted so don't blame this on anything else.
Feel free to reach out to me to explain from your end where the communication went bad between us. I am not a disrespectful or irrational person. I'm very much interested in your side.
