Ruslan is very honest. I bought a new faucet and had him install it, but he noticed it had a design flaw, warning me of what to expect over time. He uninstalled it and waited for me to return it and get a different design, and didn't charge me extra for the second install even though it took double the time. Service was prompt and I waited no time at all for them to help me complete my new installation. After having terrible experiences at a few different places, I was incredibly impressed with him. Overall will continue using him in the future. Great guy!

Overall, I had a great experience with Ruslan and Alex. I will definitely be using this company again for similar jobs around the house! He is easy to talk to and get ahold of, and Alex (who actually came to my house to do the work) was extremely efficient and courteous.

I found Ruslan on Yelp. My faucet handle was stuck and very hard to turn on and off, so I decided to have a handyman check it out. When I called Ruslan, he answered immediately and was able to quickly identify the problem once I told him what was going on. Ruslan explained that my faucet likely needed to be replaced due to mineral build up from hardened water. He suggested that I find a faucet set on Home Depot and gave me a quote for labor and any parts he might need. I told him I'd get back to him once I found the faucet.

That night, I told Ruslan that I had ordered a faucet set, and it would be arriving the next day. He responded promptly and scheduled a time to come and take care of the faucet replacement. He was even available to text me over the weekend for scheduling purposes!

From there everything else went extremely smoothly. As noted above, Alex was great. He worked quickly, and even though he had to step out to purchase a part we didn't have, he still was done with the job within two hours total. I was pleased with the quality of the work -- he showed me that he had checked for leaks and even noted that we would probably need to replace another part of our sink in the near future. He was super courteous.

Would highly recommend Altadena handyman :)

I have had trouble finding a handyman in the Pasadena area who was willing to help with my home repairs in stages - as a retiree, I have to spread my expenses! Ruslan did a walkthrough and gave me the lowest estimate I had gotten - and brought the job in for even less! He also verified his arrival dates and times via text ( something that hasn't always happened since COVID) and arrived promptly. Both he and his associate Alex couldn't have given me better service - they were prompt, polite, explained everything in detail, worked efficiently - and gave me tips on how to avoid future damages. I will be recommending Altadena Handyman to other homeowners in my building!!
