Armando and his team are experts and the best contractors we could have ever found. We were doing a large flooring project and found rot in our subfloor and walls due to our old bathroom. We called Arc Construction and Armando came quickly to assess and give a reasonable quote for a bathroom gut and remodel. We appreciated his creativity and hard work. He gave many suggestions for items and ideas that helped make the bathroom an amazing space. He was here on the weekends, working late during the week, and doing everything he can to get the job done. We made several job changes during our project and he was extremely accommodating and he has the best work ethic of any contractor we have ever hired. I can't wait to save up to have him and his team do our other bathroom.

We recently hired ARC to help us with updates to our garage to make room for side by side washer/dryer units as well as make it a more comfortable space for a home office. The project included several "under the hood" items like electrical and plumbing, as well as more cosmetic upgrades like a larger window replacement, door replacement, lighting upgrades and painting.

Armando was very responsive from the beginning to the end and made himself available morning and night to answer questions and get us timely responses. He was transparent about costs and provided detailed estimates with granular cost breakdowns, which we really appreciated. He was also direct about the scope of work he/his subcontractors would/would not cover from the beginning.

Armando is a hard worker and often worked until after dark to get a task done. He is also a nice guy that we trust to give us a straightforward answer -- which was not the same gut feeling we had with other contractors we spoke with about the project initially. His subcontractors for the mini split heater/AC install and window/framing were both great as well.

While not the flashiest project, we are happy with the work Armando did and feel the money was well spent to update our garage. Even in the end when we were finishing the project, there were a few things we pointed out as wanting to get fixed, and he was happy to do it, no issues. We recommend working with ARC to anyone who may be interested in a similar project. Thanks, Armando!

ARC transformed our outdated 1960's ranch style home (~1600 square feet) that needed a lot of TLC. When looking for a general contractor, we had gotten three estimates: ARC's was not the lowest, nor was it the highest, but it was the most transparent and itemized estimate that we received. The estimate was priced reasonably and there were caveats/stipulations that were shared with us up front about potential additional costs depending on the condition of our home.

Through a 4 month journey, ARC worked on probably about 95% of our home, both on the inside and the outside. Along the way, we added numerous new items to do, both small and large and it was very easy to do 'change orders' with Armando.

Here are a few things that stood out the most:

1. Armando (the owner of ARC) is approachable, responsive, dependable, honest, and fair. No question was ever too 'silly' and no text was ever too early or late in the day. Armando always makes himself available to discuss any questions, concerns, or even tangential ideas of mine. Armando notified us immediately about any unforeseen issues with potential solutions and options and explained things to us so that we would clearly understood what was going on. Everything he said he would do, he would deliver!

Armando strives to make sure that his customer needs are met and works with you. As one of many examples: Armando referred us to a store to buy flooring, but they were going to charge us a ridiculous amount for freight ($$$), so he took it upon himself to find another vendor with the equivalent quality of LVP for cheaper and he picked it up for us (and another customer too!). Armando also helped us by picking up other materials like doors and toilets that were too big for us to transport on our own, relieving us of stress, sweat, and additional shipping costs.

2. There is a big team of quality, respectful, and reliable subcontractors who can do a wide variety of different tasks. We used numerous different trades in our project. A few particularly stood out: roofing subcontractor (repairs that'll help us feel at ease with a rainy el nino season coming), drywall subcontractor (made drywall that had been painted over and over on look brand new again); bathroom sliding glass door (gorgeous!); tile contractor (laid 3x12 subway tile in my dream vertical offset pattern) and exterior painter (our house and metal patio looks new and fresh). Our garage door broke falling off the track and Armando was able to quickly bring someone to fix it the next day and get our new garage door opener installed!

3. Armando and his team strives for a exceptional work in an efficient manner. ARC worked on our house diligently and they take pride in the work that they do. His team works very hard and they even worked through the hot summer days. The little details do matter to them, such as recaulking shrunken cracked caulk, paint touch ups, and tidying up the worksite.

Finally, Armando is knowledgeable/experienced in the construction industry and regularly provided recommendations, suggestions, and guidance to make sure that we got the best outcome. Armando and team make it a point that it is their job to do things right, so when we asked if things could be corrected or changed to meet our personal preferences, it was not an issue, but rather their own expectation and standard.

We are so happy with the final outcome of our home and will be enjoying it for years to come. A big thank you to ARC! We highly recommend ARC construction for any project that you have. They can handle the big stuff, the little stuff and everything in between!

Armando is incredibly communicative and responds right away to all of my questions and concerns. This is personally super important for me because it builds trust and reliability! Once I felt comfortable with my decision to move forward with Armando I can say the project moved forward very quickly. He projected being done in a week and he made sure to deliver. Another plus :) we removed a few old fixtures and had a pop out wall installed which looks BEAUTIFUL. transformed our whole den!

We recently used ARC for our full house remodel (2,400+ sf; 5 bed/3 bath) which included updates/renovations to every square inch of our house and structural work in the kitchen. Armando was wonderful to work with and, overall, turned our house into exactly what we had been dreaming of since we bought the house 4 years ago. Armando and his team did all the demo work. My husband and I picked out and purchased all the materials and Armando and his team completed the installation. Armando also helped with picking up larger materials that we couldn't fit into our car. Armando had great suggestions along the way. He works hard and moves very quickly, which is always appreciated while living in a construction zone. Armando also does his own electrical and plumbing work, and he provided referrals for the jobs that his scope of work did not include (fireplace remodel, shower glass and stair railing replacement). His tile sub, Edin, did a wonderful job with the subway tile in all three of our showers.

The only suggestion we have for others would be to research your own cabinet supplier if you are going with custom cabinetry as ours lack in quality. The communication with the cabinet makers was very disjointed and certain details that we wanted weren't understood clearly.

Overall, we are very happy with our 'new' home and have been enjoying the functionality of our kitchen and all the updates throughout the house! Armando is very reliable, responsive, honest and ensures customers' happiness. We recommend Armando to anyone looking for a contractor!
