We're absolutely thrilled with the new landscaping in our front yard designed and executed by Abey Bruce and his hard-working team! They trimmed trees to allow for more sun and removed numerous old shrubs. They then installed stone flower beds and custom steel framing -- all of which was planted with native grasses, agave cactus and trees: a Magnolia, Cypress and Palo Verde.

ACL also completely redid our Pétanque court (French version of Italian Bacce Ball). Our old court had become rutted and overgrown. Abey & Co. dug out the entire court, added stablizers and resurfacing -- the new improved version is spectacular. Great fun to play on and a real asset to our property. Abey and the team at Austin Creative Landscaping completely transformed my backyard. They were professional, on schedule, and quick to make adjustments when a downed tree called for a change to the design. After the project was complete, some minor issues that arose were handled in a timely manner.

My yard had been pretty torn up during a pool installation, had drainage issues, and was full of weeds. The ACL team came up with a beautiful, multilevel design that complemented the pool that called for regrading the entire side yard to manage runoff. The steel and basalt beds maintained the clean lines I love, and new grass and a mulch bed with flowering plants and vines added texture and color.

I couldn't be happier with the work and am enjoying my new backyard oasis. I would absolutely recommend ACL!

This business apparently has a deserved reputation for doing great work. Their portfolio looks very impressive. I live in a townhouse with a small yard, and I had Abey out to give me a quote on several different things that I wanted to do. He had some good ideas, and said that he'd give me a quote with several different possible options. I was looking forward to a quote and doing business with him. A week passed by with no quote. A follow up email to him got a promise of a quote soon. After a month, Abey made another promise to get me a quote.

Almost three months later, two more follow up emails to him have been ignored, and still no quote. I was polite and professional in my communication with him. I know that this is a busy time for landscapers, but all he had to do was tell me that my job is too small of a scale for his company, that he's too busy, etc. I've been left hanging because of his lack of follow through. I'm moving on to another landscaping company that gave me a written quote less than an hour after their site visit. Austin Creative Landscaping may do great work, but they need to hire someone to help them with client communication. It's sorely lacking.

One of the easiest contractors we've ever worked with. From design to install they were responsive, honest, and communicated openly. Install went great with a group of hard workers and owner was onsite constantly checking in with us and making sure everything went well. They were detailed in their work and very professional, showing up on time and working hard the whole time. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and the experience of working with ACL.

I'm going to be transparent because I understand that objective reviews of work or services are supposed to be on here, but I hope once you read the story, you'll understand why it was important to me to make sure people knew they were dealing with someone with the utmost integrity when you're dealing with Abey. I have not used Abey's business because I live in another state. I am his sister, though, and in true sister fashion I assumed I knew all about his business because I knew him. I know he's trustworthy, wise and comes at everything from a place of love. If you've met him, you may have sensed that. Integrity is high up on his list of values whether he's at work or home. So it didn't occur to me to check on his website, like you might check up on someone that was untrustworthy. The only reason I checked today is because I realized "What kind of sister am I, that I haven't even seen any of his work?" I didn't understand the artistry and care that go into landscaping. I didnt realize it because I've never used a landscaper and Abey and I chat about family when we're together. I thought I'd see nice trimmed trees and hedges. Poor Abey, sisters are the worst. So, then I look at the website and all the pictures and I am stunned because growing up he was certainly a fun to be around, but he was also "Mr. Straight-Laced, by the book, and "there are rules about the way things should be done" guy. I didn't realize that all those kinda straight-laced qualities would crash into his loving, caring and apparently some creative qualities I'd underestimated and produce beautiful and artistic spaces that people love. That's where the objective part comes in. We all know its, usually when someone make us upset that we feel the need to say "watch out for this company" and that not as many people write positive reviews unless they are wowed. In addition to the jaw-dropping pictures, there are objective and detailed reviews on reliable review websites. Story is almost over. I had to write this because I felt like the crappiest sister. I took him for granted and didn't realize that he's done a ton of stuff for me over the years and I take, um, like 8ish years to look at his work. So, even though I can't tell you something like how long it took him to do something in my yard, I really wanted ya'll to know that are dealing with an amazing person. You won't regret it.
