Transforming Comfort: A/C & Furnace Revamp
Transforming Comfort: A/C & Furnace Revamp
At Austin Handyman 512, we are proud to share one of our recent projects that transformed the cooling and heating system for a family in Pflugerville, Texas. When we were contacted by Daisy Valle, her home was in a desperate situationâher air conditioning system had failed, leaving her house sweltering at a staggering 91 degrees. Faced with the impending Texas heat and a newborn, Daisy turned to us after her home warranty company recommended our team.
The Before: A Home Without Relief
Before we began our work, Daisy's home was not only uncomfortably warm, but the furnace, too, was over 34 years old, struggling to heat the house effectively during winter. After insufficient help from a previous service provider, she was understandably anxious about the condition of her HVAC systems. The combination of an aging furnace and a non-functioning air conditioning unit was not just a comfort issueâit became a priority for the familyâs well-being.
The Transformation Process
Upon arrival at Daisy's home, our technician, Johan, conducted a thorough inspection of the HVAC system. Within moments, he identified the root cause of the cooling problem and developed a comprehensive plan that included:
1. A/C Installation: We recommended a state-of-the-art air conditioning unit that was not only more efficient but also eligible for manufacturer warranties to ensure long-term comfort and savings.
2. Furnace Replacement: Given the age and inefficiency of the old furnace, we proposed a complete replacement. This would significantly improve heating reliability during the colder months.
3. Temporary Solutions: While we waited for the parts to arrive, we installed a temporary window unit to help Daisy and her family stay cool. This quick fix was essential, especially with summer temperatures reaching over 100 degrees.
Our team worked diligently to meet Daisyâs needs, ensuring minimal disruption while preparing for the full installation of the new systems.
The After: A New Era of Comfort
Once the installation was complete, Daisy's home was transformed. No longer was her home a sauna; it was now a comfortable sanctuary, equipped with a reliable air conditioning system and a modern furnace that ensured warmth during winter nights.
> âAustin Handyman 512 is a wonderful company with friendly and knowledgeable employees! I could not have asked for better customer care. Clean, courteous, and efficient. What more could you want!" - Daisy Valle
Daisy's testimony speaks volumes about the quality of our work and the importance of customer service in our operations. Now equipped with new HVAC systems and enhanced comfort, her family can rest easy regardless of the season.
