My husband Bernard wrote the below TRUE review: HOME OWNERS BEWARE!!! We no longer have respect or trust for Bardi and we’ve filed a complaint with the BBB!!! My wife and I initially began our relationship with Bardi in 2021. Our home/house was hot, and the air conditioning unit was not cooling. We went on the internet, searched for local service, and decided to go with Bardi HVAC & Plumbing Services.
Bardi HVAC & Plumbing Services came to our home and eventually suggested we purchase a new HVAC. We purchased the new HVAC for approximately $7,000.00. We also enlisted in their "Friends of Bardi Program" so that we could get discounts on service calls.
From the purchase in 2021 to 2024 we needed Bardi about 5 times. The air conditioning was not cooling the house.
Finally the air conditioning unit stopped completely. We were hesitant to call Bardi again, but we did because we felt that a brand new $7,000 unit should not fail in 36 months.
In February 2024 Bardi came out to our home investigated the matter and told me the compressor had failed and that they could replace it for $1,742.40. My wife and I were upset, and we felt something odd was amidst. So, we told the technician that we will get a second opinion and we will get back with you if we decide to go in that direction.
We were so upset that our new $7,000 unit had so many problems that we called Bardi to give them the opportunity to make the matter right. I spoke to "Tanya". She informed me that the warranty on ( something ) had expired and that they were not liable. I begrudging exited the conversation.
In April 2024 we got the second opinion from United Air Temp of Georgia. They came out and investigated and confirmed the compressor had failed. They said they could replace it for a cost of $945.00, plus suggested an outside acid cleaning for $399.80. Yet the very important thing that United Air Temp of Georgia told us is that we have a Lennox unit. They said several class actions lawsuits have been filed against Lennox because they used copper coils that cause corrosion and is a flawed technology. The third-party contractor also confirmed that the installation was done poorly. Nothing was cleaned, therefore contributing to the corrosion of the compressor.
We Googled "Lennox lawsuit and found out there lawsuits filed in 2015, 2016 and 2019.
So, we called Bardi back to again give them a chance to make to matter right. I again spoke to Tanya. I explained to her that they sold me a lemon Lennox unit that has had lawsuits filed against them. She told me that I made the choice to select Lennox. I become professionally irate and demanded to speak to someone else. She reluctantly referred me to "Danny".
Danny called me and I explained the situation to him. I explained to Danny that they sold me a lemon Lennox unit in 2021 when lawsuits had been filed against Lennox in 2015, 2016 and 2019 for that inferior product that uses flawed technology.
Bardi, Danny and Tanya accepted no accountability and basically claimed ignorance. I explained to Danny that we know nothing of HVAC and that we trusted them. I shared with him that they betrayed our trust.
Danny decided to offer to make the matter better by offering to replace the compressor at the original estimate of $1,740.xx plus they will throw in 1) Chemical cleaning of the outside unit/coil, 2) Acid Test of the system and 3) Liquid line dryer installation.
My wife and I decided not to go with the Bardi and their offer because we feel they lacked morals, ethics and professionalism.
We will have the work done by United Air Temp of Georgia.

It saddens that I had to come back and rewrite my review. Upon hiring someone else to come look at my system, after being told by BARDI that I need a full replacement and my 6years old unit was completely shot…. I came to discover Bardi technicians intentionally disconnected my unit and told me it wasn’t working due to a multitude of different reasons. I learned none of those reasons actually existed. They said I needed a new coil, a new compressor, a new circuit board and new duct work along with some other things. The total Bardi gave me to replace the full system was 12k and to replace the parts only around 9k.
The new company I hired simply connected what Bardi disconnected and my unit was running again! Nothing was changed or seen as damaged. I paid 0.00 dollars.
I’m am highly dissatisfied with the intentional lying and manipulation that was given by Bardi. I will be canceling my membership. I warn all consumers to steer clear of their scam and horrible tactics JUST TO REACH A SALES QUOTA. I will be forwarding this to their corporate office as I did not think Bardi would conduct such unethical behavior: shame on this company.

My technician was on time respectful and informative. He explained the problem and the possible solutions. At the end the job was complete. He cleaned his work area and stayed to make sure everything was ok. Very pleased with the service provided.
