Was top notch. This company is a “set it and forget it” type contractor. I can’t say enough great things about the experience I had.

We needed our 25-year-old roof replaced. I got in touch with Bayside Builders Group through calling their sister company Norman G. Phillips Roofing. When I called Phillips, I was responded to by Nick from Bayside. This review is of Nick and the work his Bayside Builders crew did. We started with three estimates from three different companies. Nick’s quote was the second most expensive but I felt like he really knew what he was talking about and would get the job done well and quickly. I talked to two of his references and they both sang his praises. Here are some great things about Nick: First, when he made a mistake and underestimated the square footage of our roof, he honored his original quoted price even though the job was much bigger than originally estimated. Secondly, his references told me that they had received $1000 off the cost of the job when certain materials were not needed. The same was true for us. Nick took $1000 off the cost of the job when it turns out the crew needed less of a particular material. Three, the day we signed with Nick, at my special request, Nick signed a contract change order to “install new chimney cup” for zero dollars; he included it with the job for free. During the job, we agreed instead to just reattach the old chimney cup, rather than install a new one. However, a month after the job was done, that old chimney cap blew right off. Nick honored his original agreement and sent someone right away to install the free new chimney cup as promised in the original change order agreement. Overall, the job was done very quickly, on time, with two crews working at the same time, and the cleanup after was excellent; I’ve only found a couple nails left over from the job. In short, Bayside may be one of the more expensive roofers out there but the work was fast, seemingly high quality, clean, and the communication with Nick was good throughout and filled with integrity. He will not sign off on the job until you say you are 100% satisfied.

Worked with Bayside for a large job replacing a deck and the siding on our house. While there were some bumps as expected from large construction jobs, the owner was very responsive and quick to resolve once it was brought to his attention, even after the fact. He takes customer satisfaction seriously and even addressed an issue from a prior job with another company without charge.

I wasn’t able to complete all of my work with Bayside Builders but I had a very good experience with their service. From calling in to inspection and results, everyone was courteous, communicative, and very easy to reach. I would definitely reach out to them for future projects.
