Eric, the project manager saved the day for this company to get a bad review from me. He stuck around and kept his promise to work on lingering issue on my shower remodeling. I advised homeowners to have all disclosures or arrangements with a sales rep in writing on the contract to ensure builders will keep their end of the agreement . Overall, I love my shower. Another plus side , they work with finance company to help out incase it is needed.

Our patio door was leaking whenever it rained. The previous owner of my house did a horrible job in installing the current patio door that was in our house. The frame needed to be redone and the patio door needed to be replaced.
The initial consultation was good, but they said they had a $5,000 minimum and they do not take any sort of credit. It has to be all from the checking account.
They quoted me $5,200 to do the job and to fix the leak. I figured that was a bit high, but they claim to be the best in the business. So I scrounged up some money and I paid them.
Before they start working, the person gave me a call and told me that it was actually going to be $10,000 because stucco was not included in the price of replacing the patio door. This was either very poorly communicated or not communicated at all because that as a shock to me. And that was also going to be another $5,200. So I ended up getting a loan and paid them in cash for it.
While they were working on the patio door, one of the head guys came over and really pressured the hell out of me to get more work done on the house. He wanted to seal up my house for $14,000. I'm not made of money, but he wouldn't take that as an answer. He continued to pressure me and tried to upsell me. I eventually had to just shut him down and tell him to stop talking about it.
They did a pretty job installing the patio door and redoing the stucco and making it look nice. But whenever it started raining again, the inside of the patio door was leaking just like it was before.
I called him out because they have a one year warranty for labor. The first time they just added more caulk to the outside trim. It didn't exactly surprise me, but the door still leaked afterwards. So I called them out a second time...
This is whenever it gets really shady: they remove some drywall on the inside of my house to see where the leaking was coming from. They spray the patio door, and it doesn't leak. The guy then sprays the window above the patio door, and it starts leaking. Turns out my window is the cause of the leak, not the actual patio door itself.
The guy packs up all of his stuff, throws out all the drywall that he took out from my wall, and tells me that's it. I asked him if he was just going to leave my wall with a big hole in it. He said they would replace the drywall whenever I call them over to seal the window and do the work.
At this point, I feel like I'm getting massively ripped off. There's no way in hell that sealing a window would cost me another $5,000. So I call my handyman and he is going to seal the window and also replace the inside drywall that these guys left behind for $480.
These guys may do good work, but I cannot trust or recommend them simply because of the fact that they have a so-called $5,000 minimum and they do not take any forms of credit. And they also did a piss poor job of identifying the cause of the leak before beginning work.
I would have given them one star, but they actually did a good job installing the patio door. But since this was not the actual core of the problem, and they left me with a hole in my drywall, giving them two stars.

We recently needed to replace a wood patio deck. After talking with representatives of a number of firms, we selected Bayside Builders. Jacob (Field Supervisor) was the primary contact. Jacob was great to work with---both very professional, knowledgeable and sensitive to design and a very nice person. The work crew was hard working and experienced. They handled a drainage issue and avoided impacting vegetation in a tight work area. The result is a great appearing new deck. They used existing stone walkways to access the work area. At the end of the work, I found that they had reset the stones because a few had become loose. Bayside's cost was at the low end of the firms we met with. The result is a great new deck at a reasonable price.

Contracted workers were outstanding! Quality and precision of their work is the best my wife and I have ever seen.
Contractor is a large company with many projects going at once. This made it difficult to contact the supervisor at the first level sometimes and he was only on site part of the time given his responsibilities for supervising other sites at the same time, but the on site workers knew what they were doing and didn't need much supervision. These guys were professional and terrific!
Second level supervisor above the first was always available by phone and kept the project on target and on time.
The managers chose their workers well!
Price was reasonable given this market.
Company owner came to the site to review the work at completion - good top-level management. .

I had a great experience with Bayside Builders Group. From my first phone call when I spoke with the office staff to get information, to Ron - the Field Supervisor who came out to see me and my home, and then the crew who were fabulous, everyone was professional, courteous, highly skilled, dependable, easy to communicate with, and great listeners. My project was extensive and done in an amazingly timely manner -- I had a new front porch, driveway and walkways in stamped concrete, a retaining wall in stone, and a lovely arbor and railing along my porch -- all completed beautifully in 18 days. My thanks to Ron for listening to what I envisioned and for his help in refining the plan to achieve my goals. My gratitude to the crew for their hard work and wonderful skill and craftsmanship. I should also add that I'm a 70 year-old single woman and I was treated with a lovely respect that is rare these days -- it was refreshing. I have confidence in Bayside Builders and I highly recommend this construction company for anyone wishing to improve their home.
