Jarrett Hastings and Beacon did an excellent job diagnosing and resolving my electrical issue. Jarrett is an outstanding professional who was able to put the problem in layman's terms and recommended multiple courses of action walking through the benefits and tradeoffs of each option. There was no upselling or hidden "oh by the way" costs.
I found Beacon in the Best Picks Reports for a local zip code. Beacon - by far - had the most professional and courteous staff answer the phone and help with scheduling. The other entrants in the report either used an answering service that was not able or not interested in answering my questions or their front office staff were simply not interested in answering questions about service offerings, fees, and hourly rates, and availability.
After scheduling with Beacon, I received a service window and then I received a call letting me know that Jarrett was on his way and his ETA. I also really like that Beacon texted a picture and professional bio of Jarrett prior to his arrival. That was a nice touch.
Once Jarrett was able to dig into my problem, he identified the cause and then presented multiple service options. At the end of the work, I was happy to find that the price he quoted was the price. After the work was over, Jarrett did a courtesy walk with me showing me what he had done, answered all my questions, and told me what to do if the problem was not resolved or came back.
I have one observation where Beacon can improve its service delivery. I called Beacon on Monday and they gave me an appointment for Tuesday morning. On Tuesday, I got a text notifying me that my work was being postponed due to several major installs that had scheduled for Tuesday. I am not a hybrid or remote employee and need to be in the office. When I have to take more time off from work, it does not just impact me, it has a downstream effect on my coworkers and ultimately our clients. So, if you know that you have several jobs scheduled on a given day, I recommend you offer later appointments to customers so they can better plan accordingly.
Other than that, really outstanding work. Thank you, Jarrett and Beacon.
