Brian, the owner of Blue Wave, came to my house to give me an estimate after a friend recommended him. She told me that he is quite busy, but that if I could get him he does the best work and is most reasonable as prices go. Whatever the case, I needed my whole HVAC system replaced.
He returned my call, we set up a time for 8 AM a week later, and at 7:50 he pulled into my driveway.
It turned out she was right, his quote was well below the 4 others I’d gotten. Not only that, his manner was exactly the opposite of what one would expect. He just spoke to me like it was two guys discussing heating and air, completely detached from the role of salesman. He didn’t badmouth the competition. He didn’t try to build himself up. He just told me what he could do after about 30 minutes of thoroughly examining my existing unit. After that, he went out to his work truck and worked up 3 options. All in all he was here for more than an hour. By the way, the other quotes I received were in and out in 10 minutes or less.
He came for the install today, was courteous and thoughtful about being in my home, and finished the job in the time he predicted he would.
I recommend him. He’s a little talker and a big do-er, and it’s clear he loves to get to do what he does.

After receiving a deceivingly alarming bid from another HVAC company (with whom I had a one-year maintenance contract), I got an independent bid from Blue Wave. I paid less than half of the amount that the other company had quoted and received fast, efficient, and honest service and information from Blue Wave. Whereas the other company had indicated that my fan wheels were so encrusted with dust and grime that any delay in cleaning or replacement of the wheels would result in excessive wear and damage to the system, I could see that they were not very dirty at all and cleaning them was helpful, but, by no means urgent.

We cold called the owner Brian for a new AC unit and install after a google search. He responded immediately and set up with us for a quote at OUR convenience. He did not cut corners from the moment he started working with us, returning even to get the exact right information to provide the best and most accurate quote. He worked with us on rebates we were incentivized by for some potential units, he answered all of our questions and reworked quotes for us until we were satisfied all around we were getting what we needed for the price, nothing is cheap these days and everyone is looking for the best possible deal. He more than helped us at each step of the way and this was not about upselling, it was about providing an honest service and product, when you feel that way doing business it takes all the stress away, especially when making big purchases. Brian and his tech were professional, kind, mindful of our animals and took care with boots and runners to protect our home while working. They came in and did exactly what they said they would do with a one day installation, no issues and stayed after for proper testing of the unit. This company did not cut any corners, they made sure our purchase had all the vital items necessary for installation as AC systems have changed over the years, worked efficiently, are absolutely trust worthy to have working in your home, utilized the latest equipment and was able to test the unit quickly and easily. I can not recommend this company enough, I am so incredibly impressed with both Brian and the company. And you know you are getting old when you start to think an AC unit looks kind of sexy but this thing is amazing and so quiet my cats have claimed it for themselves!

Technician was very professional and respectful. Straight to the point and got my A/C going in a timely manner. I would use them again.
