We had an exterior stairwell drain that would often clog. Other plumbers had cleared it out before, but each time they said they could only get their snake down a very short distance, indicating either a line break or a collapsed trap under the drain. The first quote we got from a different plumber was for an outright obscene amount of money just to run a camera in the line. We contacted Brownlee and scheduled an appointment. Brownlee and his crew arrived on-time and inspected the situation, and he was very up front about the potential issues and, depending on what the problem was, how it could impact both repair and cost. Ultimately, he provided a quote to open up the drain, remove the trap, conduct further investigation (including running a camera in the line) to determine how far into the line the potential break existed, and then fix the problem as long as it wasn't further down the line than the room adjacent to the stairwell. The quote he provided to do all of this work, including repairing the cement floor upon completion, was only barely above the quote the first company had provided just to run the camera!<br><br>Needless to say, we went with Brownlee, and it all went superbly well.
