Stunning Kitchen Transformation
Stunning Kitchen Transformation
When Sean B. reached out to us at GreenStar Construction, he was in a tight spot. His original kitchen remodel plans with another contractor had fallen through at the last moment, and he needed help fast. Knowing that we have a reputation for reliability and quality craftsmanship, he found us through Yelp and gave us a call.
The Challenge
The kitchen was outdated, and Sean had specific ideas in mind for a modern transformation. However, with the time constraints and the unfortunate setback with his first contractor, Sean was understandably stressed about finding a capable team that could meet his expectations quickly.
He needed a crew that could handle everything from intricate crown molding to plumbing and electrical upgrades, all while ensuring top-notch communication throughout the process. After discussing his vision during the initial walkthrough, we formed a plan that not only prioritized his ideas but also suggested enhancements that he hadn’t considered.
The Transformation Process
Our team dove into action swiftly. Under the expert guidance of Oscar, our lead contractor, we tackled every element of the remodel. Here’s what our process looked like:
1. Initial Consultation: It was crucial to assess Sean's ideas and timeline to align our services with his needs.
2. Design and Materials Selection: We worked closely with Sean, offering insights and suggestions for choosing materials that would elevate the overall aesthetic of his kitchen.
3. Flooring Installation: Our team laid beautiful hardwood floors that created a warm and inviting atmosphere.
4. Backsplash and Cabinetry: We addressed the challenging backsplash installation and crafted intricate cuts in the crown molding around the new cabinets.
5. Plumbing and Electrical Work: Our crew showcased their efficiency, completing a considerable amount of plumbing and electrical installations in just the first day.
Throughout the project, we maintained our commitment to communication. Oscar was always available to answer questions and provide updates, making sure Sean felt involved and informed at every stage.
The Remarkable Results
After just 3.5 weeks, we completed the transformation, ahead of the estimated 4-5 weeks primarily due to waiting on some of Sean's materials. The kitchen emerged as a stunning space, blending modern functionality with elegant design.
Sean shared his experience with us, highlighting our team's dedication:
> “Jay and his crew at GreenStar Construction are lifesavers! They did a fantastic job on our kitchen remodel, on relatively short notice... The care and craftsmanship that the GreenStar crew spent on our kitchen was incredibly appreciated... I would definitely recommend GreenStar Builders to others!”
His satisfaction with our promptness and quality of work reinforced our goal: to provide outstanding service and craftsmanship that our clients can trust.

Stunning Kitchen & Bath Remodel
Stunning Kitchen & Bath Remodel
At Building Ca, we thrive on transforming spaces to better meet our clients' needs and dreams. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Lili Rybakov, who reached out to us with the ambitious project of remodeling her kitchen and bathroom in one of her properties in Lafayette, CA. As a seasoned property manager frequently traveling from New York, Mrs. Rybakov was looking for a reliable partner who could deliver an impressive transformation without requiring her physical presence during the project.
The Challenge: A Dated Kitchen and Bathroom
Before we began the remodel, the kitchen and bathroom were in desperate need of updates. They both had an outdated design that did not reflect the style and functionality needed for a modern-day living space. Mrs. Rybakov had previously interviewed several contractors but felt overwhelmed by the options. She sought a contractor who not only understood design but also had a proven track record. After her friend referred her to us, she decided to contact us for a consultation.
The Transformation Process
From the moment we met Mrs. Rybakov, our team understood the importance of collaboration and communication. We started by discussing her vision and expectations, which helped us tailor our approach. Here are some of the key steps we took during the remodel:
1. Design Consultation: We provided Mrs. Rybakov with innovative design ideas that would update both the kitchen and bath while remaining functional.
2. Material Selection: Our team helped choose high-quality materials that not only enhanced aesthetics but also promised durability.
3. Effective Communication: Given Mrs. Rybakov was often away, we ensured regular updates through Skype and email, making her feel connected throughout the remodel process.
4. Timely Execution: Our skilled crew, including Sebastian, Nicolas, and Marko, worked diligently to adhere to a two-month timeline, as promised.
Outstanding Results
Once we completed the remodel, we invited Mrs. Rybakov to see the final results during one of her visits. Here’s how she felt upon stepping into her transformed home:
> "It looked amazing! It looked just like I envisioned. I was extremely excited and happy, especially after hearing horror stories about other experiences. I had a wonderful experience with Jay and Greenstar." – Lili Rybakov.
The kitchen now features modern appliances, elegant countertops, and a fresh layout that maximizes space. The bathroom was transformed into a serene retreat with contemporary fixtures and a sleek design that reflects luxury.
Commitment to Excellence
Mrs. Rybakov was not only thrilled with the outcome of the remodel but also quickly scheduled another project with us for a kitchen in San Mateo. We value the trust she placed in us, knowing that she wanted a dependable partner for her remodeling needs going forward.
As a company known for our attention to detail and quality craftsmanship, we take great pride in the feedback we receive from satisfied clients. Hearing that we have become "go-to" guys for Mrs. Rybakov is the ultimate compliment to our team's hard work.

Transforming Kitchens & Baths in Lafayette
At Building Ca, we take immense pride in enhancing homes through our comprehensive renovation services. Recently, we had the honor of remodeling a kitchen and bathroom for Lili D., a property owner managing multiple investments around the Bay Area while balancing life in New York.
The Initial Challenge
When Lili approached us, she was eager to refresh the look of two of her properties. However, the journey to find the right contractor was not easy. After interviewing five different companies, she still felt uncertain. Each contractor claimed to deliver excellence, leaving her at a crossroads with no clear path forward.
Fortuitously, a friend's glowing recommendation about our owner, Jay, brought clarity. He shared stories of his own remarkable kitchen transformation with Building Ca, and that moment led Lili to reach out to us.
Our Transformational Journey
On November 11th, Lili entrusted the project to us after Jay's initial consultation, where he impressed her with insightful design ideas and provided references from satisfied clients. Our team began the extensive renovation, knowing exactly what needed to be done to elevate her properties’ appeal.
What We Did:
1. Design Consultation: We began with a thorough understanding of Lili's vision. This involved numerous discussions via Skype and email, utilizing technology to bridge the distance while she managed her other commitments in New York.
2. Demolition and Preparation: We carefully removed old materials, ensuring that the new installations would fit seamlessly within the existing structures.
3. Installation of New Elements: Our talented crew employed high-quality materials throughout the remodel process, ensuring aesthetic appeal and durability.
4. Finishing Touches: Special focus was laid on details that truly make a difference, like modern fixtures and textures that enhanced the overall look of the kitchen and bathroom.
The Stunning Result
After just two months of diligent work, we completed the transformation right on schedule. Upon Lili’s return to San Francisco, she walked into her revamped spaces and was met with her vision brought to life. She shared her excitement about the stunning new look, saying,
> “It looked amazing! It looked just like I envisioned. I had a wonderful experience with Jay and GreenStar. I will recommend to anyone who thinks about remodeling to contact this company.”
Her positive words reflected our commitment to delivering quality and satisfaction.
