Dryer Vent Bliss: A Transformative Clean

Dryer Vent Bliss: A Transformative Clean At Cal Duct Cleaning, we pride ourselves on tackling tough challenges head-on, ensuring our customers' homes aren’t just clean but also safe and efficient. Recently, we had the opportunity to assist a wonderful client, Bonnie, who reached out to us to resolve a persistent issue with her one-year-old LG dryer. The Challenge: Clogged Vent Issues Bonnie contacted us after her dryer began displaying an error code—specifically, D95, indicating vent clogging. This not only affected the dryer’s performance but also posed potential fire hazards, something no homeowner should ever overlook. After discussing the situation, it was clear to our team that Bonnie needed urgent assistance to determine the source of this blockage and restore functionality to her appliance. Our Approach to the Solution From the moment Bonnie scheduled her appointment with us, our team ensured a seamless experience. We prioritize professionalism and friendliness, traits all our technicians uphold. Upon arriving at her home, Josue, one of our dedicated technicians, went above and beyond. Even in the rain, he climbed onto the roof to locate the vent outlet, demonstrating our commitment to thorough service. Realizing we could not resolve Bonnie's issue in the first visit—the dryer was still not working efficiently—we kept the lines of communication open. Bonnie later identified that the vent outlet might still be clogged and needed addressing. To further assist her, our team promptly organized a follow-up visit. On Martin Luther King Jr. day, Josue returned to Bonnie's home. This time, he meticulously cleaned the outside vent and discovered it was completely clogged and filled with water! For over an hour, he cleaned what Bonnie described as a “sewage look duct,” ensuring that no debris or blockage remained. > "These guys are professional, honest, and efficient! They know what they are doing!!!” - Bonnie Nealey The Successful Outcome Thanks to our dedicated efforts, Bonnie’s dryer is now functioning at its best. After running four loads of laundry without a single error code, Bonnie's relief was evident. She thoughtfully expressed her eagerness to regularly have her dryer vent cleaned by our team moving forward. Our commitment didn’t just stop at cleaning; we also took the time to suggest to Bonnie a potential root cause for the water buildup, prompting her to discuss the issue further with us.
