Catalyst designed and built a screen porch addition to our home and it was the best decision we ever made. They took care of everything, were reliable, proactive, and the quality of the work is something every visitor notices. Our project manager Sean was especially attentive and I have now recommended them to several friends. If we do more work down the line, they will be my first call.

Catylist was referred to us by UB kitchens for our kitchen remodel.  Alex did an excellent job of managing the contractors to ensure each job was done with the upmost quality while staying on schedule so the project was finished on time.  Any issues that did arise he was sure to address it right away.  They provided a detailed estimate so there were no surprises, and they even allowed us to do some of the work ourselves so we could stay within our budget.  There was excellent communication throughout the entire project and they were flexible with us as were struggled to make decisions.  We are so happy we decided to go with Catalyst and the end results were spectacular.  We highly recommend Catlyst and will definitely use them for any future projects.

We had a fantastic experience with Catalyst Construction in Austin! Alex was our point of contact throughout the process and he maintained great communication with us. The quality of the work was fantastic and they were detail-oriented. We would highly recommend them!

We did a kitchen remodel selecting UB Kitchens for our cabinets. After talking with several contractors that UB Kitchen customers had recommended we decided to go with Catalyst Construction as our general contractor.

It started with Alex (and Max) coming out and looking at our project. Not only were we going to do the kitchen but also new hardwood flooring through out our house, new lighting and some other electrical updates.
They took detailed measurements and pictures to reference. Alex delivered us a detailed estimate with each cost as a line item. There was nothing hidden and due to the experience they have there were no issues that came up that increased the cost. We added a couple things along the way and those were the only things that added to the initial estimate.

Alex worked with UB Kitchens to make sure everything was perfect for them to install the cabinets and that the time line was in sink with UB.

Once everything started Alex and or Max would meet with each crew and make sure everything with the job was understood. Work was checked during and at the completion of each job. If anything needed to be addressed it was handled quickly and correctly. Each of the crews were extremely talented, helpful and respectful.

Along the way we were having a hard time selecting our countertop. Alex really helped us with this. Ultimately steering us in the direction of a countertop that we love and that was in our price range.

I would also like to add that I know we were a small project based on the size of our house, but Alex and Max made us feel like we were top priority.

We are so happy with the final outcome we dont think we could have chosen a better company to work with. We would absolutely work with and recommend Catalyst Construction for any future needs.

I was referred to Catalyst Construction by a friend and couldn't be happier. As a first time home owner here in Austin, I knew nothing about home improvement. Alex and his team was able to provide valuable suggestions and exceeded all of my expectations. I have a lot of upcoming project and I will definitely be calling Catalyst again! I suggest giving them a call for any project- large or small!

I am so happy with all the work Jason and Catalyst Construction completed in my home. I purchased new kitchen cabinets from UB Kitchens and needed a contractor for the demo. They provided me with a list of contractors that their customers recommended and Catalyst Construction was on the list. I could not have had a better remodeling experience from start to finish! Beginning with caring customer service, and great communication to honesty and quality workmanship.

I decided my 80's condo needed more than new kitchen cabinets so besides the kitchen demo, I contracted Catalyst to remove old laminate flooring and install new vinyl Coretec throughout my entire first floor. They installed a new Shaker style bi fold pantry, hallway and bathroom door and added all new hardware and baseboard moldings. Catalyst installed new recessed lighting, a pendant in the dining room and updated all electrical and light switches throughout. They did plumbing work in the bathroom, laundry room and kitchen and removed popcorn ceiling and painted all walls, doors and trim. They removed old tile surrounding my fireplace and installed new stone and kitchen tile backsplash.

I was impressed by the great communication we had throughout the project. Jason and Casey made it very easy to contact them via text, email and phone. Their responses were always timely, courteous and professional. Since I decided to leave and stay with family in MD during the reno, they would send photos through the process which was very exciting! Catalyst also was very timely in organizing and coordinating with Joe at UB Kitchens and Nathan at GNS Stoneworks. They made a great team.

Jason was helpful, easy to work with, and is a perfectionist with a great eye for detail. I didn't think about replacing the old ceiling registers and AC return air vent grill but those finishing touches really made a difference. I showed him a picture of beadboard paneling for my kitchen and he created the perfect match. He created a new HVAC door that opens without using a doorknob and painted it the same as the wall color so it blends into the wall and is not as noticeable.

I appreciated the detailed written estimate I was given and thrilled that my project was completed within my planned budget and finished before the expected completion date!

I highly recommend Catalyst Construction for their caring, personal service and quality workmanship. It was a pleasure to work with honest, professional, nice people. I will definitely contract them to renovate my second floor in the future.
