Expert Plumbing Solutions in Charlotte
When Michael Zadnik reached out to our team at American Plumbing Services of the Carolinas, he was facing a frustrating issue: a water leak near his front walkway and driveway. The pooling water was not only raising concerns about potential damage but also driving up his water bills significantly. As a family-owned plumbing company with over 25 years of experience, we understand how critical it is to address such problems promptly and effectively.
The Before State
Michael's situation was urgent. The pooling water indicated a leak, and he needed a reliable professional to assess the source of the problem. With other plumbing companies often having long waiting times, the quick response from our team was a relief to him. He explained to us how important this issue was and that it needed immediate attention.
Our Approach
We scheduled a visit the very next day to evaluate the issue. After inspecting the area, we identified that the leak was likely related to the extensive root system from several older trees nestled in Miami's yard. This complex situation required an experienced touch. Our team explained the options clearly to Michael, ensuring he understood every step of the proposed solutions.
Upon choosing the right course of action, we arranged to return the next afternoon to tackle the problem head-on. Our goal was to resolve the leak efficiently without disrupting Michael's yard too much.
The Transformation
Our skilled team sprang into action, prepared to manage the challenges posed by the tree roots. We worked diligently, communicating with Michael throughout the process to keep him updated on our progress.
Within less than a day, we successfully repaired the leak and ensured everything was functioning as it should. Our commitment to cleanliness and thoroughness was evident; we left the site as we found it—minus the leak!
The After
Once the job was completed, Michael expressed his gratitude for our professionalism and dedication.
> "We were extremely happy with their service and professionalism! I highly recommend for your plumbing needs." – Michael Zadnik

Basement Leak Fixed Fast!
Basement Leak Fixed Fast!
At American Plumbing Services of the Carolinas, we pride ourselves on our commitment to providing rapid and reliable plumbing solutions. Recently, we received a call from Jewel Freeman on a rainy evening, and her situation certainly needed immediate attention. Water had begun seeping into her basement, causing a critical situation that most homeowners would dread.
The Challenge
Jewel noticed water flooding her basement and quickly ran out of towels to soak up the mess. In an urgent state, she contacted our team around 5 PM. We understood that prompt action was necessary, given the nature of the issue. The heavy rain had caused a leak, but the source was unclear. Jewel's home was at risk, and we were dedicated to helping her resolve this dilemma swiftly.
Our Response
Our professional team arrived within the hour, demonstrating our commitment to punctuality and urgency. Upon arrival, we immediately set to work, assessing the situation carefully. Communication is essential to us, so we made sure to explain each step of our diagnosis process to Jewel, ensuring she felt informed and secure about the work we were undertaking.
During our assessment, we found that the leak was not due to a broken pipe (which could have made for a much more expensive repair) but rather a need for waterproof sealing on the pipe entering her basement. This crucial detail allowed us to address the problem quickly and efficiently without unnecessary costs.
The Solution
With the source of the leak identified, our team promptly applied a waterproofing solution to seal the pipe effectively. This not only resolved the immediate issue but also provided Jewel with peace of mind, knowing her basement would remain safe from future leaks, especially during heavy rain.
The Results
Jewel was incredibly appreciative of our work. Her review encapsulated her experience perfectly:
> "This company is fantastic and everything I had hoped for. I called them on a rainy evening around 5 pm and spoke to Chad after noticing water coming into my basement. So much water, all the towels in the house were not enough - yikes! The team that was dispatched arrived within the hour and was so professional and courteous. They diagnosed where the leak was coming from and the solution to fix it and explained everything. Luckily not a broken pipe - just needed waterproof sealing on the pipe that was coming into the basement from the outside. Apparently, all the recent heavy rain had caused a bad seal to leak. So refreshing to deal with an honest company that could have tried to turn the situation into a very expensive fix when it was not. This shows professionalism and integrity. I cannot recommend them highly enough and will always call them in the future. Thank you to Chad and your team RB - you guys are the best!"
Conclusion
It was an honor to assist Jewel and promptly address her plumbing emergency. Our team remains dedicated to delivering honest, reliable plumbing services that our clients can always trust. Whether it’s responding to an urgent situation like Jewel’s or providing regular plumbing maintenance, we are here to help.
If you find yourself facing a plumbing challenge, don’t hesitate to contact us. We are just a call away and ready to serve you with the same professionalism and integrity Jewel experienced.
