Transforming Homes with Artistry
At Coat Masters Painting, we pride ourselves on our ability to transform residential spaces into works of art. Recently, we had the pleasure of working on a home in Brentwood, and the results speak for themselves.
The Challenge
When Angela Martinez reached out to us, she wanted to refresh her home’s interior with a new look that reflected her personal style. The walls were fading and needed a vibrant update, but she was unsure about color choices or the overall aesthetic direction. Our team understood that any change in a home can feel significant, and we were here to assist every step of the way.
Our Approach
We began with an in-depth consultation, where we showcased different color palettes and design options tailored to Angela’s vision. Our experienced team, led by our talented owner Sheryl Shaw, ensured every detail was perfect. As a local painting contractor renowned for our precise craftsmanship and artistic flair, we knew this was not just a painting project—it was about creating a space where Angela would feel comfortable and inspired.
Here’s how we tackled the project:
1. Preparation: We meticulously prepared the space for painting, cleaning surfaces and patching any imperfections in the drywall to ensure a flawless finish.
2. Color Selection: Leveraging Sheryl's expertise in color theory and design, we helped Angela select a bold yet harmonious color scheme that would rejuvenate her home.
3. Execution: Our crew worked diligently, applying high-quality paint with attention to detail. We utilized advanced painting techniques to create a smooth, durable finish that would withstand the test of time.
4. Final Touches: The project included detailed trim work that enhanced the overall aesthetic. We made sure every inch met our high standards of quality.
The Results
The transformation was stunning. What was once a mundane interior now radiated warmth and character. Angela's home became a reflection of her personality, showcasing her love for color and design.
We were thrilled to hear Angela’s feedback after completing the project:
> “Sheryl Shaw, owner of Coat Masters Painting, is an excellent, local painting contractor. I have worked with her, referring her to numerous clients over the past five years. She is highly professional, has years of experience, and an eye for color and design. The crew does an amazing job as well and maintains a high level of customer service. I highly recommend this company!”
This review provided us with immense satisfaction, reflecting our commitment to quality and customer service.

Transforming a Home into an Oasis
Transforming a Home into an Oasis
At Coat Masters Painting, we take immense pride in our ability to transform spaces into beautiful reflections of our clients' personalities. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Sue Corn, who reached out to us after a recommendation from RB Handyman. She was looking to give her home a complete overhaul, focusing on both interior and exterior improvements.
The Challenge: A Need for Refreshing
Sue's home was in need of a refresh to enhance its aesthetic appeal. The interior spaces, particularly the family room and master bedroom, required an artistic touch that would complement the existing furnishings and echo her lively, tropical theme. Additionally, the master bathroom was suffering from outdated and unattractive white tiles that detracted from the overall ambiance of the home.
Sue connected with us through our inviting website, which she found to be a strong indicator of our work quality. After an initial consultation with Sheryl, one of our talented artists, we were excited to move forward and help realize her vision.
The Transformation Process
1. Exterior Painting: We began with the exterior, ensuring that the paint was not only visually pleasing but also durable, standing up to the elements for years to come. Our careful surface preparation and meticulous application techniques resulted in a beautiful finish that instantly uplifted the home's curb appeal.
2. Interior Improvements: Next, we turned our attention to the interior spaces:
- Venetian Plaster Walls: In the family room and the master bedroom, we applied exquisite Venetian plaster, which added depth and sophistication. This technique not only beautified the walls but also matched perfectly with Sue's tropical theme, creating a cohesive design throughout her home.
- Bathroom Transformation: For the master bathroom, our team executed a concrete overlay to cover the previously unattractive white tiles. This renovation transformed the space into a serene oasis that Sue now enjoys showcasing to her friends and family.
Throughout the process, we faced challenges typical in home renovations, such as working with different wall materials and adjusting our techniques to meet Sue's unique preferences. However, our team's dedication and craftsmanship allowed us to overcome these obstacles and deliver results that exceeded expectations.
The Aftermath: A Satisfied Customer
The results? A stunning transformation that left Sue thrilled with the outcome. She shared her gratitude in a heartfelt review:
> "Coat Masters Painting was referred by RB Handyman. Their amazing website convinced us to invite Sheryl over for an estimate. The quality of exterior and interior paint exceeded our expectations and will probably last a lifetime. Sheryl is an extremely talented artist who listened to our ideas and gave us a home to enjoy and be proud to display. I love showing pictures of my home and will continue to call Sheryl for any new projects."
Our team couldn't be happier with the feedback and the beautiful new look of Sue's home.
