Dolce electric is NOT NOT NOT a company that you’d like to use for electrical diagnostic or repair. I had NO power to my pool pump, so they took a look. Here is a time line.
They Arrived at the house: I showed them the panel box where the breaker was for the pool pump. Nothing seemed to be wrong there, (not opening it at all to test anything)
Inspection: They looked in the timer box, unscrewed my light switch cover to check for power to the pump, to no avail. They asked if I had a separate junction box, told them I have one near my patio, but not sure if it has anything to do with the pump wiring. They opened that up, (surprisingly it was affiliated) they looked at it and said it’s in rough shape. Continued back over to the pool pump, dug a hole down where the electric goes, said “yup that looks bad too” mind you, they never checked for power at the junction box at all, or even touched it besides taking the face plate off. And! There wasn’t anything at the bottom of the hole, dirt dust, and a metal pipe (conduit) the wiring goes in. No sign of erosion at all.
Conclusion: The junction box is bad, the line at the pump is bad, or the line is broke somewhere in the ground, and I’ll have to re-lay a whole new line to fix the problem. (From the breaker to the pool pump) $3500, orrrrrrr pull new wire through the line for $900 but it might not work... Also, they left all of my electric open, (junction box, light switch, left the hole) And poof they’re gone. They left 240v exposed.... (power or not) even a dummy knows that’s not a good idea.
Multiple different cues that they don’t care about the business they do, they’re looking for money, or an easy job that won’t take much time. Maybe they need to stick to installing ceiling fans and light switches.
I’m aware the end result is either pulling wire, or re-laying new everything, if the problem can’t be found.

*****!!!!!!!!!!!NEW ELECTRICIAN came out the same day, DIFFERENT COMPANY!!!, junction box is where the issue was. $138 bucks, done in two hours. Also was confused about the other “issues” dolce said they encountered. To my great satisfaction the pool pump is humming along and going to be ready for the weekend thanks to an honest company that did their job throughly and correctly.

Tony and his team spent 2 days rewiring and moving all the electrical equipment for our pool. They were a pleasure to work with and consummate professionals. I recommend Tony for any project you have without hesitation! Thank you for making a stressful situation become a positive situation

Tony from Dolce Electric was just the man I needed in a pinch! I was quoted $3k to replace an electrical panel, which for a single guy who just bought the home was really hard to swallow. I called Tony up and he knew exactly what the problem was and was able to come out the next morning and fix it and not have to replace the entire panel! Tony was amazing and I'll be calling him for all of my electrical needs!
