I used these guys for the install of a 5 head mini split AC + heat system for my house. I had a few different companies over for quotes and Jason from Enviro was able to get me the best deal. The install was quick, only taking a few days, and the guys did a great job. I'm very happy with the system so far, and am looking forward to seeing how it does when it gets cold. Other HVAC companies that were at the top of the list for me were Stouts and Bill Kutz, so I would also check them out if you're getting estimates for work. Every company is different so I'd recommend getting in touch with a few of them to get a feel for which is the best match for your job.

I am very glad I chose Enviro Heating and Air Conditioning to install my Mitsubishi Heat Pump System. Because I am blind, they suggested using Wi-Fi and Alexa for voice control and enabled this function but also showed me how to use the remotes. Their responsible, professional installation and willingness to solve all problems before receiving payment were much appreciated, and I love my new system. I am also grateful to know I can expect support if I do have any system issues in future. Thanks a bunch Chris, Jason and all the other Enviro staff members who participated in making my home more comfortable!

Just before Christmas, one of our two aging (27 years old) furnaces died. In anticipation, two years ago, I had solicited proposals to replace the two 5-tons furnaces and A/C units. All three proposals were similar in design, replacing the two 5-tons with two new, 80% efficient furnaces and A/C, with upgrades to many of the 28 ducts connected. I was not happy with the concept. I wanted to raise the efficiency of the furnaces to the high 90%. I was told that the price would be almost twice as much. After the death of one of the furnaces last December, I noticed that the house was comfortable with only one furnace. Only 2 or 3 rooms dipped to just below 60 degrees in the early morning. I investigated replacing both furnaces with only one high efficiently one, capable of handling multiple zones. Engineering calcs suggested that the 5700 Sqf. house needed between 7 and 8 tons, implying I would be taking risk.
I reviewed three new proposals, one was outrageous, one was for the same price as the previous year two furnaces proposal. I was ready to go. When walking my dog one evening, I chatted with a neighbor who is a contractor. He suggested I called Chris at Enviro. Chris responded to my call when I got home after my walk and came to the house the following day. After a thorough inspection of the current installation, he pulled out his tablet and in 15 minutes issued a comprehensive proposal for a multiple zone (exact number to be determined after demo of the existing system). The 5-ton, 97% efficient Bryant Evolution, 2-stage modulating, and the 5-ton 26 SEER A/C condenser required 28 new insulated ducts (all galvanized steel) was priced slightly less that the best proposal (Carrier System, identical to the Bryant - same manufacturer). Not familiar with Enviro, I called three references, one having replaced multiple furnaces with just one. They made me believe that Chris walked on water.
The installation started two months later. It took 6 1/2 days. The crew of 2 to 6 (depending on the day) was friendly, competent, and ultra clean. After a little tweaking of the program of the Wi-Fi thermostat, the 3-zone system is keeping the house perfectly comfortable (according to our standard) and I already noticed a decrease in PG&E usage. It was a monstruous job. They did not even protest when I requested relocating one of the three thermostats, whose location (on an outside wall) proved to be inadequate. Chris and Enviro deserve a 6-star review for a fantastic job on an extremely complicated installation.

Back in 2011 I replaced my wall furnace with Enviro. Their price was competitive and quick with their scheduling. After the wall furnace was replaced, within a week had developed an igniting issue. Would not fire up. After numerous calls and visits, I believe 6 in all over the next year of which the furnace was in operative over 6 months. In 2017, the furnace developed the same issue. The tech insisted the gas valve needed to be replaced, so it was done. No sooner they pulled out of the drive way, the heater failed to fire up. Another visit, insisted it was another part in the unit that was bad. Again after they pulled out of the driveway again.... The next call, the tech insisted it was the wire from the thermostat in the wall to the heater. Another fail and another visit needed. The thermo stat was relaced, again, another visit needed. Igniter was replaced and other parts revisited. They found the problem in the wiring down on the bottom of the unit. Well it fired up for the next 4 years until now. PG&E came into my house and inspected the unit. Shooting a yellow flame and sending carbon monoxide into my house. This unit has been just a nightmare from beginning to now it's end. I don't even want this unit repaired again.
