I had Evo Turf & Paver company install Artificial grass. In May this year.
Some place of the grass melted before they finished installing due to window reflection around 5 pm with temperature 73 F. I have to pay extra to have them repair it.
Now. Today. I discovered more place melted. That is very bad quality grass that cause $8,000. The picture show more Melted on my new grass

Very rude older gentleman working the table at the San Diego County Fair on 27 June 2024. I approached their table as I’m looking for a company to install turf in my home that I recently purchased. The older man just looked at me when I said good afternoon and then without saying anything, just pointed to a younger representative who wasn’t even at the table yet. The younger man with a beard was pleasant but the fact that the first guy didn’t even give me the common curtesy definitely made me save the company’s name so that I remember to never give them business or recommend them. At 42 I’m retired and just want to improve my home for my family. Professionalism and customer service is horrible which I can only think that their product reflects the rude employees.

This review is long over due. We hired Evo Turf & Pavers for paver job over a year ago. Our initial meeting with our salespeson, Michael Ong, was lovely. He looked at what I wanted to do and promised to get a quote out to me within a few days. Michael kept his promise (unlike other companies I called) and the quote was in line with two other quotes I received. Michael O. is a very likable guy and easy to talk to. He told me that they don't sub-contract, that Evo has been in business for over 10 years and the product and workmanship is warrantied for 10 years. I had a really good feeling about him and the company after meeting with other paver companies so, we hired him for our job. It's been over a year now and we noticed that a paver had a sizable chip in it. I called into the office and they told me how to file a warranty claim which is a simple process of photos and an email. This information is directly on the warranty they emailed after the job however, I never printed it. A few days after submitting my claim, the warranty department responded and asked if I had any of the product that they had left after finishing the job. Unfortunately we had none of the soldier border pieces but, Mr. Gutierrez said is was not a problem and that he would get the product and call me to schedule replacement as soon as he could. He called me after about a week, said that he was able to get a couple pieces (one for the replacement and another to have on hand in case) and they could come out to replace it soon. I'm really impressed with how responsive and communicative the warranty department has been and I'm so pleased I hired Evo Turf and Pavers. It says something about a company when they prove to stand behind the product and workmanship they sell. Bravo, Evo Turf and Pavers. I LOVE companies like you!

This company is truly awful. They have like 8 different names so I didn't see the negative reviews before doing any work with them and then when the work started to turn south, I did some digging and found this page with people all commenting the same things that I experienced. Hopefully, other people find these reviews before getting work from this company.

I redid my backyard and had a fairly large budget. I spent $185K with this company and they made me regret every second of it. I hired a design company to design my backyard and I brought Evo those designs saying, this is what I want done in my yard. I spent quite a bit of money on designs from an actual design company only to have the Evo "design" guy try to change everything that I wanted done. He was awful to work with and I eventually had to ask to have him removed from the project.

They told me the work would take 5-7 weeks and the work ended up taking 6 months. Every time we agreed on something, they would never take a note and then they would come and do something different then what we discussed. They would then say "we never talked about that" which is my fault for putting any trust in what they said.

I paid $20K for concrete that they destroyed and then tried to blame it on leaves from a tree. I had to ask them multiple times afterwards to clean up some of the debris from construction and they refused to do it. I had to have my house professionally cleaned after they left because of all of the filth they left around. If I'm paying $185K, please clean up after yourself.

The sprinkler system that they installed leaked. I told them that it was leaking and they told me it wasn't. I had someone else come and confirm that it was the sprinkler system. They finally came back and "fixed" it, only to have it start leaking again the next day.

Towards the end of the project, I had to tell them to wrap up their work and move on because I was tired of working with them and listening to them make excuses.

Please, please do yourself a favor and avoid these guys like the plague.
