Transforming Yards with Turf & Pavers
Transforming Yards with Turf & Pavers
At Evo Turf & Pavers, our mission is to help homeowners in San Diego enjoy beautiful and low-maintenance outdoor spaces. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with a client who was tired of battling weeds, the constant need for watering, and the frustrations of wildlife infestations, particularly pesky gophers. After years of dealing with these challenges, our client decided it was finally time to transform the yard efficiently and beautifully.
The Before: A Yard in Distress
When BM Associates first reached out to us, they outlined their frustrations with their current yard situation. Weeds choked the grass, watering was a daily chore, and the gopher infestation made the prospect of a lush lawn seem like a distant dream. Our client wanted a solution that would alleviate maintenance burdens while allowing their yard to be a stunning social and recreational space. It was clear that a significant upgrade was needed.
The Transformation Process
Our team sprang into action, ready to turn their vision into reality. After an initial consultation, we designed a plan that included high-quality synthetic turf installation, a stylish layout of paver stones, and even a mini golf course to add an element of fun to their outdoor space.
The process involved:
1. Removing the Old Landscape: We first tackled the overgrown grass and weeds, ensuring a clean slate for the new turf and hardscaping.
2. Expert Drainage Solutions: As BM Associates noted, our project manager Chris Marquez took special care in explaining the drainage options. We marked out the future putting green area to provide clarity and vision for our clients.
3. Installation of Synthetic Turf: Using top-notch turf materials, our team laid a plush, green lawn that requires no watering, no mowing, and is resistant to pests. This means year-round beauty without the hassle!
4. Adding Paver Stones: The installation of paver stones added both style and functionality, creating pathways and seating areas that perfectly complemented the new turf.
5. Creating the Mini Golf Course: For fun and recreation, we crafted a mini golf area that would engage family and friends for years to come.
Throughout the project, communication was key. Our team ensured that we were available to discuss any modifications, listen to feedback, and accommodate last-minute changes to meet BM Associates' needs.
The After: A Revitalized Outdoor Oasis
The transformation of BM Associatesā yard has been nothing short of spectacular. They now enjoy a vibrant outdoor space that not only looks stunning but functions impeccably. No more weeds, no more watering hassles, and certainly no more gophers stealing the show!
> āWeāre really happy with the outcome and even recommended them to our neighbors and folks. Thank you Team Evo Turf & Pavers.ā ā BM Associates
The clients were particularly pleased with the exceptional service provided by Chris Marquez and our entire team, highlighting our professionalism, communication, and commitment to tidinessācleaning up every day after work.

Landscape Transformation with Turf
A Beautiful Landscape Transformation in San Diego
At Evo Turf & Pavers, we are passionate about transforming outdoor spaces into stunning and functional environments. Recently, we completed a project for our client, Luis Vargas, who had a clear vision in mind: to revamp his outdoor space to be both beautiful and practical. Luis reached out to us looking for a solution that would complement the climate in San Diego while ensuring sustainability and ease of maintenance.
Before: A Challenging Landscape
The initial state of Luis's yard was typical of many homes in the areaādifficult to maintain, with patches of grass struggling to thrive under the hot sun. He was juggling with the challenges of watering, mowing, and dealing with unappealing dry patches. It was clear that a change was needed, and thatās where our expertise came into play.
Our Solution: Innovative Design and Quality Materials
Our team started with a comprehensive consultation to understand Luis's goals. He wanted a space that not only looked great but also aligned with sustainable practices. After discussing various options, we proposed a design that incorporated artificial turf, drought-tolerant plants, and a new drainage system that would address his water management concerns.
Steps We Took:
1. Artificial Turf Installation: We replaced the struggling lawn with lush, green synthetic turf that requires no watering, no mowing, and is perfect for the dry climate.
2. Drought-Tolerant Plants: Alongside the turf, we introduced a selection of plants that thrive in arid conditions, enhancing the landscapeās beauty while being environmentally friendly.
3. Drainage System: To ensure optimal water management, we installed a robust drainage system that provides peace of mind during rainy seasons.
4. Paver Installation: We added elegant pavers that not only beautify the area but also create functional outdoor pathways.
5. Decorative Elements: To complete the look, we introduced Mexican pebble rock and gravel, which add texture and visual interest to the overall design.
Throughout the project, our team faced a few challenges, such as coordinating the diverse elements to ensure harmony within the design. However, our commitment to attention to detail and craftsmanship allowed us to overcome these hurdles seamlessly.
After: A Stunning Result
The transformation was breathtaking. Luis was thrilled with the final outcome, stating:
> āI'm absolutely thrilled with the landscape transformation Evo Turf and Pavers did for my home! They exceeded my expectations in every way. The team was professional, responsive, and delivered exceptional results. The new design is not only visually stunning but also functional and sustainable.ā
The synthetic turf now offers a beautiful, evergreen look year-round, while the pavers and natural elements provide a sophisticated flair that harmonizes beautifully with the home and community.
Luis praised our team's dedication, particularly our project manager, Joseph Brown, and foreman, Vicente, for their skill and attention to detail. His enthusiastic feedback reinforces our mission at Evo Turf & Paversāto provide quality service and beautiful outdoor solutions.

Transforming Outdoor Spaces Beautifully
Transforming Outdoor Spaces Beautifully
At Evo Turf & Pavers, we are dedicated to enhancing outdoor living spaces through high-quality installations of synthetic turf and paver systems. Recently, we had the pleasure of working on a project that speaks volumes about our commitment to customer satisfaction and craftsmanship.
The Challenge
Our journey began with Rachel Crivelli, who reached out to us over a year ago for a new paver installation at her home in San Diego. Rachel had been exploring different options but felt uncertain about which service provider to choose. After narrowing down her options, she connected with our team, specifically with our personable and knowledgeable sales representative, Michael Ong.
> āThis review is long overdue. We hired Evo Turf & Pavers for a paver job over a year ago. Our initial meeting with [Michael Ong](https://www.thumbtack.com/ca/san-diego/artificial-turf-installation/evo-turf-pavers/service/551289179062050821) was lovely. [...] I had a really good feeling about him and the company after meeting with other paver companies so, we hired him for our job.ā - Rachel Crivelli
Rachel appreciated Michael's straightforward communication and his promise to deliver a quote promptlyāsomething she noted was missing with other companies. This assurance, combined with our company standing for over a decade and the warranty on our work, gave her the confidence she needed.
The Transformation Process
Once we secured the project, our team set to work with precision and care. We selected high-quality pavers that would not only enhance the aesthetic of Rachel's outdoor space but also ensure durability for years to come. We took great care to follow detailed installation methods.
During the installation, we encountered a few minor challenges, which we managed efficiently by drawing on our extensive experience in the industry. Our dedicated team worked harmoniously to create a stunning paver layout that aligned perfectly with Rachel's vision for her backyard.
Fast forward more than a year later, Rachel noticed a sizable chip in one of the pavers. Remembering our commitment to customer service, she promptly contacted us. Our warranty department quickly provided clear instructions on filing a claim, demonstrating our commitment to transparency and responsiveness.
> "Iām really impressed with how responsive and communicative the warranty department has been. It says something about a company when they prove to stand behind the product and workmanship they sell." - Rachel Crivelli
The Results
After just a few days, we coordinated with Rachel to arrange the replacement of the damaged paver. We sourced the specific materials needed for the replacement, and our team returned to ensure everything was restored to its original pristine condition.
The end result not only met but exceeded Rachel's expectations. She left us glowing feedback, expressing her love for the service provided:
> "Bravo, Evo Turf and Pavers. I LOVE companies like you!" - Rachel Crivelli
