UPDATE (1/6/2026)Eric from FlowGood reached out to me to discuss my service. There was a misunderstanding about the charges( since my problem wasn’t resolved I should not have been charged for the work. Shoutout to ERIC for a full refund of $450. I really appreciate FlowGood for standing behind their work and making things right!! 5 stars<br><br>I DID NOT have a good experience with FlowGood Plumbing. I had a fairly routine plumbing issue with a slow draining toilet line. I found FlowGood through Thumbtack and they came early the next day. I discussed my issue with the plumber and he felt he could resolve the problem by “snaking” out the shower drain that partially shared the same drain line as the toilet. He ran a line to clear the drain all the way through the shower out to my septic tank. However, that did not clear my toilet. At that point he suggested to me that my septic tank needed to be pumped and recommend a septic company. He collected the $450 for the work he did and departed. My drain was still clogged and my toilet was not working. I called the septic company that he recommended and described my issue. The owner of the septic company told me that he didn’t feel pumping my tank would solve my problem. I agreed and then did more research and called a second plumbing company. They came out and after some investigation and clearing ALL my drain lines my problem was solved. I feel strongly that FlowGood did the minimum to correct my issue and defaulted to some other issue being the problem which I later learn was not the case. They spent about 45 minutes at my house, ran their drain clearing machine through my shower drain and collected their fee!! $450 dollars later and nothing changed, in fact the plumber gave me bad advice on how to correct the problem. I will never use their service again
