Just bought a new home and 3 days later my AC went out. I called Fort Worth Air Conditioning and they were very pleasant to work with, their customer service was top notch, and my Tech James couldn't have been better! James was very professional and helpful. They are lucky to have someone on their team like him. Fort Worth Air Conditioning Co. was absolutely wonderful to me and my husband when our air conditioner failed to cool off last week. On July 21, 2017, I called my home warranty provider to request service for our air conditioner. The warranty provider uses Grace Air and Heat. Grace Air and Heat sent over a technician that said we have a small leak and that he repaired the leak and added six pounds of refrigerant to our AC. Well the house never cooled off. I called them back to follow up and a different technician tells me several things that are wrong with the AC and that there will be some non-covered costs. He did not add more refrigerant, in fact he simply said ... " well the Freon did not make it". In the midst of our extreme frustration we decided to get a second opinion. We began to read reviews and decided to have Fort Worth Air Conditioning assess the situation. When I called to request service, Jessica answered my call and she was a breath of fresh air. She was so kind and thorough when she explained what to expect from the service visit. When Sonny (technician) arrived to my home he was extremely pleasant. He checked to see if the air conditioner was registered when we purchased the home for an appliance warranty, and when it was discovered that it was not registered he explained all of the options available to us. He informed me and my husband about everything that was wrong on his first visit and how we could effectively and economically repair our air conditioner. He offered to provide us with refrigerant to keep our home cool until Jessica could get us scheduled for the repair. When Sonny added refrigerant to our air conditioner it worked to cool our home!!! When the refrigerant ran out James (another technician with Fort Worth Air Conditioning) came to add more refrigerant until he repaired our AC leak the next day. James was also very thorough and explained everything before he did the repair. He also noticed that we had a clog in our drain that was the culprit to our leak. He discussed routine maintenance to keep our air conditioner in the best condition. We are so grateful and appreciative of the service from Fort Worth Air Conditioning. We will continue to be a customers of Fort Worth Air Conditioning as long as we live in Fort Worth. If you need service for your air conditioner, save yourself the stress and call Fort Worth Air Conditioning. You will be very glad that you did.

Awesome service! Ryan was out here in just a few hours after initial call and fixed bad capacitor in less than 30 min. James was also very helpful and professional. Five stars!

Edit: Another great experience with Fort Worth Air Conditioning. Sonny came out and performed some minor repairs to an electrical box that burned out as well as cleaning the coils and topping off the freon on my units. He walked me through each step and finished quickly. A/C is ice cold in my house. This is a first rate company and I highly recommend!

I have been using Fort Worth Air Co for my A/C servicing for over 5 years. They have always done a great job. Great customer service, always worked with my schedule, and I never got the feeling I was being taken advantage of. This year my A/C was on its last leg. I knew it was only a matter of time before I would be without any cool air, which is a death sentence in Texas. I called three companies to come give me estimates. Never heard back from one, another one took two weeks to give me an estimate and didn't seem to care at all, and then there was FTW Air. First off, scheduling was great. The office staff was very nice and helpful. Sonny came out personally for my estimate on a Friday afternoon on short notice. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to go over all aspects of the installation process. He even suggested moving my AC over to be more efficient. This would not cost me any extra money but would cost them more time. They gave me a fair price and there was no question who I was going with. We were able to schedule the installation quickly. On that day, Sonny was there again to ensure everything went well. Everything went great. They spent the time needed to make sure everything was working at peak performance. As a side note, they also did some other side work for me in my yard without any hesitation and didn't even charge me. I was very impressed with them. Martha, their office manager, even stopped by to check in with us. It has been about three months since I got my new A/C and it is working like a champ!! Long story short, they've earned a customer for life. The process was easy and their customer service is top notch. Very glad I went with them.

Thank goodness for Sonny at Fort Worth Air Conditioning! It is 102 degrees today, and our upstairs a/c unit stopped working. We called Milestone Electric and they sent two guys who replaced the capacitor, which immediately exploded and tripped our breakers. They interpreted this as our unit was 'completely shot' and said they could order parts to fix it for $5,500 or replace the unit for $5,700. The price seemed high, but our unit is old and it is very hot so we decided to move forward with replacing the unit. They wrote up the paperwork for the $5,700 and said they would be here in two days to install. We did some research after they left, and turns out this cost is extremely high. Also, the unit they tried to sell us is a low-end Lennox unit that is only recommended for cooler climates or cottages that do not need to be cooled consistently. We live in North Texas, so this would have been an expensive disaster. So we called Sonny at Fort Worth Air Conditioning for a second opinion. He was here within an hour even though it was late on a Saturday evening. After hearing about the capacitor situation, he decided to try a new one. The unit immediately started working. Turns out the Milestone guys had a bad capacitor, which they said cost $425 - more than double what Sonny charged. Our unit may be old, but it was fine other than the capacitor. Here we are an hour later, and our upstairs unit is cooling with no problems. Needless to say, we cancelled Milestone and will never call them again. Moving forward, we will not use anyone but Sonny. He is extremely responsive, fair, and so pleasant to work with. Thank you, Sonny, for saving us $5,700 and from getting a bad a/c unit that we did not need.
