We just had 3 showers installed by Golden Age Builders and we are very pleased with the outcome. The showers are beautiful and a fantastic upgrade. Our project manager and designer Tomas and Danielle, were professional, on time, and very hard working. They kept us apprised of the progress of the job at all times. It is with pleasure that we recommend Golden Age Builders (GAB) to those who want an extraordinary condominium or home remodeling experience. GAB just finished a three-month renovation of our Los Angeles condominium which was undertaken during the COVID-19 pandemic and while our son was living in the unit.
What sets GAB apart form other contractors with whom we have worked was the seriousness of purpose exhibited at each step of the project. The company is fully committed to a caring, personal approach with superb customer relations highlighted by continuous communication. Staff members including Jenny, Shani and Tomas, the owner, went out of their way to be sure that we were kept informed and satisfied at every juncture as the work progressed. From the very early stages, we were impressed with the quality workmanship and attention to detail. Each task was performed by highly trained, experienced tradesmen who took great pride in their work.
GAB is blessed to have Tony, project manager extraordinaire, who is one of the finest gentlemen with whom we have ever had the pleasure of working. Without his astute professional guidance, the project could not have been completed. From the very first interaction we had with Tony, there was no question that he was a man with unusual competence in the construction and design fields. His compelling personality that exudes trust and the love of his work stands out immediately. We depended on Tony's expertise every step of the way. He had the patience of Job as he went about helping us select tile, lighting fixtures, faucets and even paint colors. We think of him now as part of our family.
We already miss the cordial relationships that developed with our friends at Golden Age Builders. We were sorry to see the project end, but we love our beautiful "new condo."

After meeting with several contractors, I chose Tomas with Golden Age Builders for a 500 sq ft addition to my house. His bid was very reasonable, and after meeting with him I felt reassured that he knew my needs and that I could trust him with my project. I definitely made the right decision.

We ran into a few snags along the way with permitting, because of some inconsistencies in the plans (not their fault, I already had the plans before I hired them). Tomas took care of working with the city and the engineer to straighten it all out. He was very good at communicating with me, and keeping me up to date on what was going on.

One of my biggest concerns in doing the addition was bugs - I really can’t stand them, and was worried about having parts of my house opened up while they were working on the addition. Tomas went above and beyond to satisfy me at all times that everything was sealed up, scheduling work however he could to make me the most comfortable. Even if my bug fears weren’t really warranted, Tomas understood and worked with me at every turn, always with a smile.

As for the quality of the work, it is excellent. I am so happy with my new room - it turned out just like I imagined it. And if there were any little things that weren’t exactly how I wanted them, Tomas always took care of them, never stopping until I was satisfied.

Tomas and everyone at Golden Age Builders were a pleasure to work with. His workers were all very friendly and helpful, and did a great job. I would definitely use them again.

I love Golden Age Builders for transferring my kitchen into a beautiful and exceptionally functional living space, They listened to what I hoped to accomplish with the renovation... a more open floor plan. They were so detail oriented, The fact that there would be no additional costs once the project started and that Golden Age Builders uses their own staff for all the work, helped me make my decision. The project teams who worked at my home were dedicated and professional. They treated me like they were working for their own family. At the end of each day, the jobsite was neat and organized.

We're extremely pleased with the work done by Golden Age Builders. They remodeled our kitchen and did an excellent job. Everyone that we dealt with was friendly and knowledgeable. They helped us make terrific design decisions and stayed within our budget. We thought the prices were great for the quality of the work received. Everything looks great! We worked primarily with Danielle for the design and planning of our 1940s era kitchen renovation. Coming into the project our goals were #1 to add a dishwasher and #2 rejuvenate the kitchen and breakfast nook without destroying the existing charm. We were pretty hands-off and open minded; Danielle came up with a tasteful "refresh" that seamlessly blended with the existing style. Tomas our project manager was professional and made sure we understood his plan. The project finished on time and on budget and his work crew was clean and professional. Communication with Tomas was easy and timely. Everything went as planned. We have received compliments from everyone who knew our kitchen "before".
