Transforming a 16-Year-Old Home
Transforming a 16-Year-Old Home
At HandyMan and Beyond, we pride ourselves on taking on challenges and transforming homes into spaces that families love. Recently, our team had the pleasure of working on an exciting project that revitalized a 16-year-old home in Austin, Texas. Our customer, Jody M., reached out for our handyman services to address extensive caulking work and other minor improvements needed in her boss's residence.
The Before: A Home in Need of Care
When we first visited the site, it was clear that the home had seen better days. Over the years, wear and tear had taken its toll, particularly with the caulking around windows and doors. Clients often contact us when they realize their living space feels dated or inefficient, and this case was no different. Jody’s boss sought a dependable solution to enhance the comfort and aesthetics of their home, as well as to prepare it for potential future sales.
Our Approach: Attention to Detail
Our team tackled the project by focusing on meticulous caulking work, which is essential for not only appearance but also for energy efficiency. Jaylen, one of our skilled technicians, took the lead on this project. He carefully assessed all areas that required attention, ensuring every crack and gap was skillfully filled with high-quality caulk.
In addition to caulking, we entertained a variety of other minor repairs. We utilized the highest quality materials to ensure lasting improvements, while also ensuring minimal disruption to the household. Our approach is always methodical and detail-oriented, allowing us to exceed customer expectations consistently.
> "Look no further for a handyman company… these fine people are everything you will need! You will be quite pleased with their high-quality service, and probably find that you want to plan other jobs you want to get scheduled. I have used their services for my boss’s home twice now with great success. We had extensive caulking work to be done; Jaylen was EXCELLENT! He was punctual and took the necessary time to make it all look awesome. Such an improvement on this 16-year-old house."

Jody’s boss expressed satisfaction with the finished job, stating that it felt like a breath of fresh air for the household. With every project, we strive to instill confidence and satisfaction in our clients, and this project was no different.
