Buyer beware. Matt quoted me $70 per hour for interior painting, which seemed high to me. I told him I'd need to know how many hours it would take before we got started. He said it would depend on how well the paint covered so I offered to tell him exactly what paint I'd purchased. At that point he told me he wasn't interested in the job. Then by accident he sent me the two text messages below,obviously intended for a coworker or someone he was working with.
"Let's just call it a day. That customer sounds a bit dodgy, if you know what I mean."

"I just got off the phone with her. i don't want to give you a customer who is a pain, so I told her we are going to pass."

It is REALLY hard to find a good handyman in Austin. They are either difficult to get scheduled, too expensive, or just inefficient. HandyMatt made my life so easy. He can communicate via text and was able to get someone out to our office within a couple hours. Amazing! He followed up with me afterward to make sure I was happy with the work done as well. I will definitely be using Matt's services in the future. Highly recommend!

Matt is the best. He is a hard worker, does good work, and is reasonable. Bruce on his team is also awesome. You never have to worry about poor quality work with Matt - he'll make sure the work is complete and you're happy before ever leaving a job. He's actually much pickier than I am so that's a plus. Plus, he actually schedules jobs with meeting requests - and then sticks to the schedule. If he or any of his people are even five minutes late I get a call. Such an amazing difference from past experiences where I had to wait around hoping that the handyman would show up within 2 hours of the time he said he would. And get this, he also returns calls, shows up for quotes, provides the quote, makes sure he or his people show up for the job, finishes the job, and then follows up for feedback. I would definitely recommend him and his company.

Matthew is a great guy and he has a very hard working group. He was very responsive and got the job done without bothering me much.
I had taken quotes from many services before getting the work done in my home where I was going to convert my second living area into a room and these people were so economical and I felt it was so easy to work with them for anything. It was done in just 2-3 days to perfection. I would definitely recommend him for any job that you want to get fixed or built or whatever it is. :)

Matt fixed an outdoor faucent for us. It was leaking. I tried to fix it by undo-ing the faucet, but ended up twisting the copper pipe as it was sottered on. Matt recognized the faucet was sottered on, cut off the part of the pipe I twisted, and attached a new faucet with a compession fitting (he bought at Lowes, after not finding it at HD). He did this on a weekend trying to fit me into his busy schedule. Thanks Matt!

Matthew is great! He took time to walk through the house as I pointed out all the small projects that needed attention. He took notes, then went shopping for supplies and completed the projects I deemed priority for that day. He was quiet and cleaned up after himself (a big plus). I will definitely continue his service with us!
